    Website Tester (DBN)

    You Bring:

    • BSC/BCom/N.Dip.
    • + 1-year Software Testing experience with experience in testing Web Applications.
    • 12 months of IT/QA experience.
    • Experience in cross-browser/environment testing.
    • Exposure in software testing tools.
    • Knowledge of web standards and technologies including accessibility compliance.
    • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
    • Domain knowledge assessment.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Analysing users’ stories and/or use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility.
    • Collaborate closely with other team members and departments.
    • Execute all levels of testing (system, integration and regression).
    • Play a key role in software quality improvement for customer-facing websites.
    • Identify test scenarios for website solutions produced by the team.
    • Write test plans and perform functional, standards, and cross-browser compliance testing.
    • Identify and document all system errors.
    • Maintain a repository of system test plans.
    • Ensure all work meets customer expectations and departmental quality standards.
    • Maintain an active knowledge of software testing tools, standards, and processes.
    • Detect, log, and track software defects and inconsistencies according to the team standards.

    Intermediate Software Quality Analyst (CPT)

    You Bring:

    • BSc, BCom, N.Dip
    • At least 3 years of experience in a software testing role.
    • ISTQB certifications are advantageous.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Analysis and Design: You will examine documentation like business requirements and specifications. This review helps you derive appropriate test estimates and formulate a strategic test approach, ensuring thorough test coverage.
    • Implementation: You are responsible for developing manual functional test cases that adhere to internal standards and best practices. The development and execution of these tests should be meticulously managed within our test management tool to ensure both organisation and efficiency. Alongside these responsibilities, you are also tasked with designing and implementing API tests to ensure system interoperability and robustness.
    • Execution: You will execute tests using the relevant tools, ensuring that each test is conducted methodically and accurately.
    • Defect Management: A key aspect of your role involves formally logging any defects found during testing. You will follow up on the progress of these defects and retest them once they are addressed.
    • Retesting and Regression Testing: You are tasked with conducting both retesting and regression testing to ensure that software changes have not adversely affected existing functionality. This includes maintenance of the regression test pack.
    • Reporting: You are responsible for creating test progress and test completion reports leveraging automated reporting capabilities as far as possible.
    • Documentation and knowledge sharing: You will create documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team. You will also be involved in conducting training sessions with the team to support upskilling efforts.

    Application Support Team Leader (DBN)

    You Bring:

    • Diploma or Degree in Computer Systems (advantageous).
    • Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) or Microsoft Technology Associate (MCSA) (advantageous).
    • Microsoft Systems Engineer (MCSE) (advantageous).
    • Experience with Office 365 and Azure (advantageous).
    • ITIL Foundation certification advantageous.
    • At least 1 years’ experience in supervising or team lead within an Application Support desk/help desk environment, infrastructure remote support.
    • Scrum Master/Project Management Training and Certification (advantageous).

    What You’ll Do:

    Leading the IT Application Support Team:

    • daily direction and communication to team members to ensure App Support tickets are answered in timeously, and efficient manner.
    • Assist the team in resolving complaints and escalations from end users and management.
    • Administer customer service duties such as quality analysis on call and ensure fast turnaround time on ticket resolution.
    • Oversee the tickets to completion.
    • Conduct scrum meeting with the IT App Team as the Lead.
    • Provide team with effective and efficient troubleshooting methodology to ensure efficiency of the team.
    • Be the point of contact for all time and attendance issues the team member might have.
    • Interface, when necessary, with stakeholders or 3rd party vendors to obtain any assistance required.
    • Ensure correct entries are inserted into the IT Service Management Tool 4Me.

    Technical Support and Escalations:

    • Provide hands-on, day-to-day technical support for team members.
    • Responsible for all connectivity alerts and backup alerts.
    • Provide basic training on core software and hardware used.
    • Point of contact for customer complaints or escalations.

    Building on KMDB & Documentation Reporting:

    • Compile technical standard operating procedures for all known errors.
    • Compile daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on IT Application Support statistics.

    Customer Centricity:

    • Feedback to customer on status of all unresolved escalated queries.
    • Ensure protection of all user’s data in compliance with company policies.

    Continuous Improvement:

    • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures by team members and to continuously evaluate for improvements.
    • Ensure attention is given to employee experience.
    • Focus on a proactive approach rather than a reactive one.
    • Evaluate, analyse and provide necessary recommendations for improvement to Leadership based on user feedback and technical observations.

    Admin and Technical Assistance for ADHOC Infrastructure Projects:

    • Constructively participate as a member of the wider IT Department.
    • Undertake any other tasks or once-off projects which may be assigned from time-to-time.
    • Demonstrate professional skills and a high standard of integrity.

    Head of Software Development (DBN)

    You Bring:

    • At least 3-5 years’ experience managing software development teams and team leads.
    • At least 10 years in a technical role within the IT software development industry.
    • Prior experience ensuring timely project delivery.
    • Provide technical and architectural guidance to development team.
    • Ensure development standards and development SDLC is adhered to by the development team.
    • Ensure that the skills and experience of Software Development teams are consistent with its technological and business needs for current and future services.
    • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced growing environment.
    • Strong planning and organisational skills.
    • Reporting skills at Executive Management and Board level.
    • Stakeholder Management.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Manage the design, delivery and continuous improvement of IT solutions across the organisation in support of increasing the organisation’s levels of automation and innovation.
    • Partner with individual operational departments to provide technical solutions to business requirement, manage expectation and ensure the delivered solution is fit for purpose and is delivered on time based on provided deadlines.
    • Utilise a variety of the Technical tools that are provided to ensure maximum effectiveness of IT solutions. These tools will be based on industry best practices.
    • Be a leader that sets the standard and expectations through example in his/her conduct, work ethic, integrity and character. Must be an inspiration to others and set a level of coding standards that need to be a benchmark for others to follow.
    • Demonstrate the ability to successfully develop, adapt and deliver Software solutions utilising skills in software design, program design and development using the latest software development methodologies. Effectively document these solutions for maintenance and hand these over for support.
    • Take full responsibility of tasks and projects assigned and make the necessary corrections to bring these projects into alignment with business expectation.
    • Lead discussions in the adoption of new technologies and be part of a committee dedicated to the continuous improvement of internal coding standards.
    • Ensure that the stakeholders are completely aware of the effectiveness of the solution and are trained in the correct use of the delivered software.
    • Create and maintain a positive and professional environment conducive to software development and mentoring.
    • Report on Software project deliverables to ensure all stakeholders are kept up to date on progress and ensure that deadlines are met.
    • Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Willingness to work overtime to ensure the delivery of projects assigned and communicate effectively when timelines are in danger of not being met.
    • Mentor Junior and Intermediate Developers by periodically reviewing checked in code to ensure that the standards expected are met and the logic within the code base is sound.
    • To oversee a team of Developers.
