    AMS Specialist

    Description

    Supports and promotes the dealership’s John Deere value added services delivery by providing hands-on expertise, training of employees and supporting solution execution. Provides professional phone support as part of relevant services package.

    Provides expertise for supporting the sales of AMS (Agricultural Management Solutions) products, solutions and services. Creates real added value for the dealership and customer in being the subject matter expert in AMS solutions. Develops, promotes and supports the sales and delivery of service agreements to customers.

    Requirements

    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

    • Qualified Technician
    • Valid driver’s license

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

    • 5 years related experience after qualification, including management exposure

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

    • Provides on-site, email and telephone consultancy services to customers
    • Provides support for advanced precision farming product sales and system troubleshooting
    • Develops and delivers internal and external training for precision farming products
    • Supports the execution of the dealership’s John Deere Centralised Connected Support strategy (including machine monitoring and agronomic decision support)
    • Technical support to technicians and AFGRI Equipment employees
    • Training as a Certified Dealer Instructor
    • Reporting

    TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES          

    • Good knowledge of AFGRI’s product range
    • Advanced computer knowledge in related programs
    • Good written and oral communication skills as well as presentation skills
    • Coaching and training skills
    • Advanced customer relationship skills
    • Clear understanding of the commercial aspects of value added services
