    Senior Manager: CFO Advisory

    Description of the role and purpose of the job

    CFOs play a crucial role in organizations, supervising all financial activities such as accounting, financial reporting, tax, business control, and treasury. In Digital Consulting we are the CFO problem solvers, we develop and implement practical solutions to a range of complex accounting, reporting, financial and regulatory challenges.

    Our business needs a dynamic senior manager that shares our passion for advancing the CFO agenda of our clients. This position provides opportunity to assist clients with:

    Technical accounting and regulatory interpretation and implementation

    • Audit readiness, assurance, and compliance assessments
    • Financial and regulatory end-to-end reporting services
    • Assessments, design, integration and implementation of financial and regulatory processes, controls, and functions
    • Data quality and remediation
    • Digital offerings for financial, regulatory, and non-financial reporting, development of innovative digital solutions and offerings across financial management functions

    Key responsibilities

    • Participate in market activities to grow the CFO Advisory services for the firm;
    • Assist clients in technical accounting and regulatory implementation;
    • Lead the delivery of finance & accounting transformation engagements, from visioning and target operating model development to implementation;
    • Collaborate with other business units within the firm in delivering comprehensive solutions for clients;
    • Develop and train team;
    • Understand how technology enables the finance function of the future etc;
    • Contribute effectively to the discussions around the “future of finance” and actively participate in generating creative ideas and thoughts; and
    • Display diligence during the execution of any work of KPMG’s internal risk management processes at all times;
    • Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

    Skills and attributes required for the role

    • Strong organisation skills; a self-starter with initiative, ability to foster innovative approach to problem solving;
    • The ability to build collaborative relationships with good interpersonal skills and the ability to relate well to colleagues with differing levels of expertise and skills while championing inclusion and diversity;
    • Client relationships management;
    • High level of attention to detail and a desire to drive quality;
    • High level of drive and resilience;
    • Ability to multi-task and reprioritise tasks as and when required;

    Manager: ESG Transformation and Reporting

    Our Digital Consulting business needs a strong self-driven Manager, who is as passionate as us about ESG and helping clients in their ESG journey. The role will provide opportunity to be involved in various stages of the client’s ESG journey including advising on ESG strategy, transition, and implementation – including in specialist areas like climate change, decarbonisation, just transition and helping clients to understand their ESG readiness / prepare for ESG reporting.

    • Participate in market activities to grow the ESG market for the firm;
    • Develop and train team;
    • Vision through to target operating model development design (including future state validation and deployment) to the evolution of implemented operating models;
    • Interpret client requirements and support the team with the sales process of ESG projects engagements including an appropriate tailored approach and methodology;
    • Understand how technology enables the ESG function of the future etc;
    • Display diligence during the execution of any work of KPMG’s internal risk management processes at all times;
    • Contribute effectively to the discussions around the ESG Agenda and actively participate in generating creative ideas and thoughts; and
    • Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

    Minimum requirements to apply for the role

    • Undergraduate degree in either commerce, accounting, economics, development economics, finance, social science, business administration, environmental science, engineering or management or equivalent.
    • Postgraduate diploma / degree is advantageous.
    • Interest is business applications
    • 2 - 3 years experience working on ESG related engagements in areas of NetZero, Circular Economy, Energy Transition, Just Transition or Sustainable Supply Chain.
    • 2 - 3 years project management experience in a similar environment.
    • Experience in people management and business development is necessary.
    • Passionate about working on ESG Transformation and ESG Reporting.

    Call Centre Agent

    The role is to assist with handling incoming or outgoing customer calls for the business and ensuring that customer queries are adequately answered to their satisfaction. The call centre agent will also be responsible for directing, transferring calls, and providing general customer service, customer contact and technical support.

    Key responsibilities

    • Receiving of all incoming and outgoing calls
    • Accurately transferring of inbound and outbound calls to the correct Business units,
    • Log internal service calls,
    • Providing Business information to external and Internal Clients
    • Keep abreast of staff movements and to understand different business structures in head office and regional offices
