    Regional Sales Manager

    Job Advert Summary

    The Regional Sales Manager will report to the National Wholesale Manager and is responsible for managing the company’s performance (sales at optimal margin) in the Gauteng region. The RSM will target specific customers and product mix opportunities in pursuit of building consistent, profitable demand with growth potential.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Relevant tertiary qualification.
    • At least 8 years Sales experience in the FMCG industry.
    • Computer Literacy: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, etc.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the performance of the Retail and Wholesale channels in their defined region.
    • Responsible for the profitable performance of Key Customers by optimising product mix and pricing.
    • Liaise and obtain direction from the National Wholesale Manager to achieve strategic targets.
    • Draw up and manage an account plan for all key customers in the defined region.
    • Negotiate listings, pricing and activities to drive volume that is more predictable and profitable.
    • Ensure administration is up to date i.e., account plan, trading terms, credit limit, price list, product specifications, invoicing, deliveries, payments, claims and disputes, pallet recovery and customer complaints.
    • Demand planning input linked to customer requirements, customer plans, production capacity and stock holding objectives.
    • Complete weekly sales reports and call plans for weekly sales meeting. Reports to include sales achieved, sales forecast for coming week, competitor activities/ pricing and focus customers / sales strategy for the next week / month.
    • Conduct in person customer visits and business reviews with customers as per agreed call cycle and frequency.
    • Ensure monthly expenditure does not exceed allocated budget.

    HR Administrator

    We are looking for an HR Administrator to support our Human Resources department. The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees. The main purpose of the position is administrative of nature and duties include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g. all employment records) and updating internal databases and managing the time and attendance duties.  Our ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner but also be able to perform under pressure.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • Must have a valid driver’s license & Own transport (will be required to travel from time to time)
    • 3 years experience in human resources with specific involvement in time & attendance operations
    • A diploma in HR Management/IR Management (Degree would be greatly valued and beneficial)
    • Relevant HR courses will also be beneficial
    • Knowledge of time and attendance software (Jarrison T&T System would be advantageous)

    Duties and Responsibilities

    HR Admin Duties

    • Organize and maintain personnel records (file hardcopies and electronically)
    • Update internal databases (e.g. record sick or maternity leave, long service)
    • Prepare HR documents, such as employment contracts, transfers, promotions etc.
    • Compiling HR reports
    • Answer and Assist employees queries about HR-related issues
    • Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
    • Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms
    • Participate in HR projects (e.g. help organize a social project, functions etc.)
    • Minute taking during meetings
    • Assisting with Employment Equity Admin duties
    • Benefits administration

    Time and Attendance Duties

    • Review exception and overtime reports on a daily basis
    • Act as liaison between the users on site and the service provider
    • Trouble shooting on site prior to logging issue with the service provider
    • Liaising with on-site users to ensure information is completed in a timely and accurate manner
    • Administration of the Employee Self Service system
    • Express, model and reinforce a process-honouring culture
    • Ensure application of policies and acts within the time and attendance solution

    Technical Knowledge & Competencies

    • Computer literate in MS Office programmes
    • Knowledge of Human Resource and payroll processes
    • Good knowledge of timekeeping and strong administration skills
    • Good analytical skills and actively clarifying what has been communicated to ensure understanding
    • Displays levels of patience, work well and delivers under pressure
    • Displaying integrity, honesty and confidentiality
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, in person and telephonically)
