• Support Technical Services in implementing and carrying out tasks related to the various TS projects & customer support activities
• Conduct the baking trials in the lab according to SOPs
• Collate and report all information from assigned tasks that will enable the Baking TS team to compile internal and external reports for the relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure the laboratory and baking equipment are operated according to the recommended procedures and safety protocols.
• Ensure that the ingredients, chemicals, laboratory consumables and enzyme samples are used according to the identified procedures.
• Maintain the inventory and efficacy of all raw materials and enzymes required for daily tasks.
• Preparation of testing material, testing chemicals and reagents according to the prescribed procedures.
• Preparation of samples necessary for portfolio demonstrations, customer interactions and industry related events.
• Keep the laboratory orderly at all times
• Operate according to Novonesis policies and fundamentals.
• Develop own baking skills relevant to the customer base and markets that are serviced by the S.A. Baking lab.
• Develop a strong understanding of the Novonesis portfolio to support the TS team and engage meaningfully with customers on solutions.
• Provide application insight:
• Contribute actively with input for continuous product, tool & service development
• Initiate plans and coordinate technical activities carried out by Novonesis, customers or partners
• Understand and help to address customer concerns
• Participate in customer meetings as coordinated with the commercial and technical team
• Provide customer and industry technology insight
• Plan/guide lab work in accordance with the Application Qualification Agreement (AQA)
• Support development projects as needed by providing customer and industry technology insight and lab support
• Experimental work:
• Conduct/supervise own lab-work to meet customer and project expectations
• Manage external testing in collaboration with the responsible TS specialist
• Develop and adapt new methods and procedures based on up-to-date knowledge
• Communication:
• Represent Novonesis towards customers and other stake- holders on technical and/or project issues
• Actively reaching out within the global TS and R&D community to take advantage of the global organization as a platform for better solutions.
