Project Manager - New Stores & Refurbishes at Boxer Superstores

Minimum Requirements

Experience and Qualifications:

• Project management certification or relevant qualifications.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in building and construction management, preferably within retail environments.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirement
• Valid Driver’s License
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel for financial analysis and project tracking.
• Strong knowledge and experience in the construction industry, with a focus on retail operations.
• Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with internal teams, external contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Projects

Duties and Responsibilities

New Stores:

• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to finalize store designs and specifications.
• Manage construction timelines, costs, and quality assurance to ensure stores open on schedule and within budget.
• Conduct site visits, oversee building programs, and handle all logistics related to store opening requirements.
• Liaise with municipal authorities and service providers as needed for approvals and compliance.

Refurbishes:

• Lead the refurbishment projects for existing stores, ensuring adherence to design specifications and budget constraints.
• Oversee the drafting and approval of architectural drawings, collaborating closely with engineers and contractors.
• Manage the construction process, including procurement, scheduling, and quality control measures.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timely completion of refurbishment projects with minimal disruption to store operations
