    Salesforce Journey Builder

    Job Description
    We are on the lookout for a Salesforce Journey Builder to:

    • Serve as a subject matter expert in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, enabling an optimal user experience for all stakeholders by developing, creating and implementing customer journeys and driving engagement and revenue. 
    • Build, test & optimize multi-channel campaigns (email, SMS, push notifications, social media, etc.). 
    • Create & implement personalized messaging across multiple channels. 
    • Drive business objects (Merchandise SBUs/Commercial) and design campaign journeys.

    Key Responsibilities: 

    Marketing Cloud Utilization

    • Utilize Marketing Cloud tools and scripting language where needed to deliver dynamic and personalized content through various digital communication channels.
    • Understanding of data and the data flows in and out of Marketing Cloud.
    • Data management across the Marketing Cloud Studios – Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Ad Studio, and Contact Builder

    Template Development and Optimization

    • Utilize HTML, AMPscript, SQL, and/or CSS to develop customized and optimized email and SMS templates.
    • Implement innovative designs and solutions, including mobile-responsive designs, to enhance the visual appeal and usability of assets.
    • Design, build, and refine email communications that align with internal and external digital campaigns and meet ongoing business requests.

    Quality Assurance (QA) 

    • Perform QA testing to ensure proper functionality of automations, landing pages, journey setups.
    • Perform QA testing to ensure proper functionality of email dynamic content across various email clients.

    Performance Measurement and Enhancement 

    • Measure and enhance performance characteristics such as open rates, click-through rates, and content engagement using A/B testing and other methods

    Campaign Execution

    • Creation and manipulation of data to deliver personalized and segmented campaigns.
    • Support the tagging of marketing URLs using Google Analytics, utilizing URL shortening utilities for promotion within digital communications

    Advice and Collaboration

    • Provide advisory support on industry best practices and standards related to email marketing, considering business and customer needs.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate featured assets and content for effective integration into email campaigns

    Experience: 

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in email marketing / digital design with a marketing technology platform required.
    • Enterprise-level experience with Salesforce.com and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
    • Salesforce Marketing Cloud email certification

    Qualification:

    • A completed 3-year diploma OR bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing OR Communications OR related field

    Knowledge:

    • Intermediate knowledge of HTML, AMP Script and SQL.
    • Retail industry knowledge an advantage.
    • Strong understanding of testing, analysis and optimization, targeting, segmentation and personalization

    Advertising Specialist: CFE

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dynamic Marketeer to execute the promotional calendar from end to end according to guidelines, timelines, specifications and within budget on all the relevant platforms, as well as implement Post Campaign Analysis on all campaigns.

    We're a fully in-office team, based at our Support Centre in Kuils River, Cape Town.

    So, what will you do? 

    Advertising Operational Plan

    • Execution of the Advertising operational plan (ATL, DM, PR, BTL, Digital)
    • Compliance with CI, media specifications and budget

    Marketing Process

    •  Provide input into, continuous improvement to the marketing process-promotional grid, critical path to post campaign analysis (media, shoots, samples etc.) and executing on it.

    Compiling, analysis and/or interpretation of the:

    • Compile post campaign Analysis
    • Campaign administration and all relevant administration
    • Input into Seasonal Brand review

    Marketing Strategy focused initiatives

    • Competitions, budgets, engagement initiatives, new store openings, innovations

    Management

    What experience and qualification is required?

    • A minimum of 3 year's relevant marketing experience gained in a marketing/ advertising/ agency environment.

    • Demonstrate clear understanding of all marketing platforms (ATL, BTL, Digital platforms, PR, Direct Marketing & Paid Media)
    • Ability to persuade and influence both internal and external stakeholders
