    Fitter and Turner - Laezonia

    Job Summary 

    • Maintain Housekeeping , safety , health and environemental Standards
    • Ensure all mechanical plants repairs are carried in accordance to mine standards
    • To assist the maintenance team to achieve high level of availabitlity of machinery ad equipment in the plant
    • to complet all job cards issued by engineering planner

    Minimum Requirements

    • Matric ( Grade 12)
    • N3 with mechanical Engineering Subjects
    • Trade Certificate

    MINIMUM REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:

    • 2 years heavy industry mechanical engineering handss on experience
    • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
    • Experience in trouble shooting
    • Skilled in reading and interpreting of engineering drawing
    • Experience in crushers, screens,conveyor belts andpther general heavy equipment
    • Computer literate

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Must be in possession of a drivers’ licence
    • Must be able to stand-in for the EF or EP when required to
    • Must be a team player
    • Ability to communicate effectively
    • Willing to take instructions from superiors
    • Must be medically fit

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Perform pre-start and running inspections on plant mechanical equipment.
    • Inspect/test all safety and equipment protection systems for functionality and operability at predetermined intervals
    • Assist the EF/WM with; and liaise with the EP for planning of work and its performance as well as required resources
    • Identify components and/or equipment to be replaced and request that the EF and EP initiate the internal/external requisition of material and/or services
    • Maintain all safety and equipment protection systems to required standards
    • Install, maintain and repair all mechanical equipment and their associated components to the relevant engineering standards, and in line with appropriate legislation
    • Provide feedback to the relevant stakeholders (through works orders, email and other platforms provided for such feedback)
    • Perform HIRA on all tasks
    • Maintain good housekeeping within their work area
    • Uphold standards relating to safety, health and environment
    • Ensure continuous availability of all plant mechanical equipment
    • Execute tasks and associated job cards as per PPC and other related standards
    • Coach learners in the mechanical trade
    • Assist the EF, EP & Buyer with technical evaluation of suppliers on RFQs
    • Conduct technical inspections/assessments on mechanical equipment/components
    • Assist EF with witnessing of FAT and SAT when equipment is about to be commissioned
    • Perform alignment of shafts, drive components, etc.
    • To assist the maintenance team to achieve high level of availability of machinery and equipment in the plant
    • To complete all job cards issued by the EP

    Manager Human Resources

    Job Summary:

    The Human Resources Manager is responsible for all Human Resources activities within sites/operations. This role focuses on human resources planning, implementation, and administration. The role is also responsible to support business with employee relations, training, and development requirements and providing reports to various stakeholders.  

    Minimum Requirements

    • Matric
    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management (NQF Level 7)
    • Certificate Programme in Industrial Relation would be advantageous
    • Driver’s licence with own vehicle
    • The role requires extensive travelling to the sites 

    Minimum Work Experience

    • Human Resources Generalist experience-  5 Years
    • Industrial Relations experience - 2 Years
    • Experience in working with regulatory and legislative bodies
    • Experience in the cement industry would be advantageous
