    Senior Lead - Regional Project Lead Technology Information

    Job Description

    Mission/ Core purpose of the Job

    • To ensure successful service delivery enablement to MTN Customers (consumer/enterprise/digital) through effective project management.”

    Responsibilities

    Key Performance Areas: 

    Project Execution Planning:

    • Responsible for the execution planning in the region including the scheduling of project resources required to meet and exceed project targets
    • Responsible for obtaining the project implementation deliverables including order specifications and milestone target dates from Project Manager
    • Ensures the allocation of planned work to appointed contractors/suppliers in accordance with contractual obligations
    • Ensuring that suppliers/contractors are aware about the capacity and capabilities required to support MTN
    • Allocation of accountable project engineers within the region
    • Ensuring the communication plan between the implementation team, Project Manager and the commercial teams are clearly defined and understood within the region 
    • Attend project kick-off meeting to clarify complete corporate customer requirements and deliverables pertaining to transmission and radio access infrastructure. 

    Project Execution Management:

    • Accountable for end-to-end implementation of all approved projects within the region.
    • Ensure that leased FTTx and microwave transmission links are supplied to EBU Customers within agreed target dates and quality standards.
    • Ensure that required Access infrastructure such as macro, micro and indoor DAS, TX high sites etc… are supplied within agreed target dates and quality standards.
    • Ensure that the responsible project engineers and suppliers are diligent in the updating of Network Information Management System.
    • Monitor all output related workflow actions and ensure that they are completed in accordance with the project plan dates.
    • Monitor all input related workflow actions by contractors and ensure they are completed promptly in accordance with the project plan dates and contracted SLAs. 

    Project Risk Management:

    • Proactively identify quality and schedule delivery risks and generate risk mitigation alternates for the Project Manager.
    • Apply active operational decision-making in the best interests of MTN and its Customer

    Project Reporting:

    • Provide weekly project progress reports to Project Manager. 
    • Provide implementation feedback to Project Manager on ad-hoc basis.
    • Ensure the supply of accurate and good quality reports.

    Project Stakeholder Management:

    • Collaborate and liaise with the other departments and work streams in order to assist in the facilitation of a seamless integration of all relevant access technologies 
    • Ensure that suppliers/contractors espouse MTN values at all times
    • Attend all meetings involving scope change and communicate impact thereof

    Project Close Out:

    • Attend project close-out meetings to confirm deliverables pertaining to transmission and radio access infrastructure are in accordance with corporate customer requirements and deliverables. 

    Special Projects and Support:

    • Assist with managing special projects as and when required. 
    • Assist head office during tender evaluations.
    • Assist head office staff in responding to RFPs.
    • Assist in the POCs and field trials of new supplier solutions.
    • Assist Project Managers and Process analysts in process optimisation initiatives.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements  

    Education:

    • Minimum 3 year diploma/degree in engineering/technology
    • Fluent in English 

    Experience 

    • Minimum of 3 Years experience in the telecommunication industry (preferably in the Radio & Transmission Implementation environment). Sound project management experience will be advantageous

    General Manager - Investor Relations Group Finance

    Responsibilities

    • The General Manager: IR will be accountable to achieve the following objectives:

    Strategy Development and Implementation

    • Advise the Group Executive: IR on the potential impact on investors of MTN’s strategy implementation and/or factors such as mergers and acquisitions or dividend changes.
    • Develop strategic insights and analytics to support Investor Relations initiatives and activities.
    • Drive capital and operating market intelligence and trend analysis to enhance strategic decision-making and communications.
    • Represent the views of the local and international investor community to the management team in the development of corporate strategy.

    Investor Engagement Planning and Execution

    • Provide feedback regarding the local and international investment community's perception of how the company is being managed, and their view of its financial results.
    • Support the development and execution of communication plans, aligned to Group Investor Relations, that target different members of the local and international financial community.
    • Monitor local and international operational changes through ongoing contacts with company management and develop local and international investor relations messages based on these changes.
    • Support the planning and execution of high-quality local and international investor events, including quarterly and annual calls, meetings, conferences and roadshows in local and international markets.
    • Prepare local Market Communication and Releases alignment with overall MTN group messages and results. 
    • Communicate local key messages to ensure a good understanding and appreciation of the company.
    • Create presentations, press releases and other communication materials for earnings releases, industry events and presentations to analysts, brokers, and investors in local and international markets.
    • Create targeted local and international initiatives for identified shareholders.
    • Prepare local senior management to participate in selected analyst conferences.
    • Coordinate comprehensive and prompt response to local investor queries.
    • Address and resolve respective Opco queries as required.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with local and international Stock Exchange representatives.
    • Respond and implement contingency, containment and mitigation measures in the event of a business crisis or issue that is public in nature in local markets, aligned to Group Investor Relations. 

    Performance and Reporting

    • Monitor and report performance metrics for the investor relations function in locally listed OpCo’s as required.
    • Coordinate and drive comprehensive local and international competitive analysis, including financial metrics and differentiation (local share price performance, including price, volume, trends in respective markets).
    • Track market perceptions about the stock and OpCo strategy in specific markets.
    • Provide insights relating to market and competitive dynamics for local and international markets.
    • Monitor and disseminate key analyst reports to Group Executive: IR and senior management highlighting key points.
    • Support and coordinate in the oversight of the production of all annual, interim and quarterly reports, and proxy statements for the local market.
    • Prepare local regulatory reporting reports and submissions.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Minimum of 4-year tertiary degree in Finance/Business Management/Economics
    • MBA or Masters advantageous
    • Relevant certification / accreditation / membership with professional body as required for role   
    • Fluent in English and language of country preferable

    Experience:

    • 8 years senior management experience or more; with at least 5 years in Investor Relations
    • Experience as, or engaging with, sell-side analysts and investors in local and international capital markets
    • Experience in sustainability and governance practices that have relevance to and impact IR
    • Experience in maintaining communication between an organisation and its investors, ensuring transparency and trust through accurate financial reporting and stakeholder management.
    • Strong knowledge of MTN Group and history of the business
    • Experience in Stock Exchange reporting and disclosure requirements.

    Coordinator - Project Co-ordinator Customer Operations

    Job Description
    Mission/ Core purpose of the Job

    • To effectively handle service orders from customers to ensure that the delivery of services is completed on time within SLA and creates a positive customer experience. To be responsible for providing sales administrative and customer support, overseeing, and managing order workflows, and resolving order queries, complaints, and escalations as per SLA. The Order fulfilment agent is the central point of communication between Supersonic, third-party partners, and customer. Ensures that orders are handled effectively, errors are promptly addressed, and customer service is maintained by preventing cancellations due to fulfilment issues.
    • Responsible for overseeing order workflows on internal and external systems, handling and updating orders where applicable, provide feedback on delayed orders and continuedly following up on such orders to reduce the time between the order to activation of a service.

    Responsibilities

    • Process and manage all technology orders from order placement to completion, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
