    PR & Influence Social Media Account Director

    POSITION SUMMARY

    We are looking for a Social Media Account Director specialising in community management and paid performance marketing, within a dedicated PR & Influence marketing team. You must be able to think on your feet, navigate social crises and demonstrate your strategic thinking and experience leading a team, and using social listening tools while keeping your finger on the pulse of what is shaping online conversations, content creation, and the ability to drive creative content generation across META, Tik-Tok, X, LinkedIn, and more.

    As an Account Director you will lead a team, multiple brand and projects, armed with your experience and proven ability to think and do. A can-do entrepreneurial mindset will be needed to sustain this growing team and client base. You must be able to problem solve, create highly effective and fruitful working relationships with clients and collages, collaborating with other business units within our agency and across teams.

    It would be beneficial if you understand PR and influence strategy and implementation in the consumer and corporate sector, while ensuring that you and the team are working towards results driven objectives and providing industry best practice. Ideally you would also have experience managing large to small scale campaigns and overseeing junior team support.     ROLE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Strategy Development and Community Management:

    • Develop and implement innovative social media strategies that drive engagement, build communities online and live coverage activations.
    • Develop innovative approaches to community management that drives meaningful interactions and brand advocacy.
    • Align social media strategies with PR and influencer marketing efforts to ensure integrated campaigns that amplify reach and impact.
    • Integration of social media community management with PR, Influence and advertising campaigns.

    Paid and Performance marketing:

    • Plan, execute, and optimize paid social media campaigns across various platforms (e.g., META, X, LinkedIn, TikTok).
    • Utilize data-driven approaches and performance marketing techniques to optimize campaigns and drive continuous improvement.

    Creative Content generation:

    • Lead and guide the creative development of social media content to drive resonance with social conversations. Having an ear plugged into social media trends and personalities shaping these conversations, with strong social media writing ability.
    • Collaborate with creative teams to produce high-quality, engaging content.

    Building client relationships:

    • Build and maintain relationships with mid-level clients as the primary point of contact for clients
    • Can confidently lead social media conversations and problem solve in the moment as required, and act as a point of escalation.
    • Ability to understand the macro and microenvironment and business context the client is operating in and uses this knowledge to develop solutions and approach tasks in a way that is effective for the client.

    Leadership:

    • The role requires proactive communication regarding team achievements and concerns, with a focus on solution-oriented management. As a leader you will be responsible for cultivating effective and productive account teams,
    • managing and mentoring a team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
    • Takes responsibility for all projects and feels accountable for both the work, people and the process.

    Commercial Acumen:

    • Is well informed about the commercials and managing them to meet agreed targets. Able to recognise the commercial implications of resourcing and smart scoping.

    Required Skills:

    • Deep understanding of existing and emerging social media platforms and updates.
    • Strong ability to analyse statistics and data to generate insightful reports.
    • Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and keyword research an advantage
    • Proficiency in content creation, design and video editing software, including but not limited to Photoshop, Canva and CapCut, is required along with creativity and a keen eye for detail.
    • Broad knowledge of current events, including political, social, and technological trends
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, especially in client relationship management.
    • Experience managing social media crisis
    • Capable of project managing multiple projects
    • Proven ability to manage a team of skilled professionals planners and creatives.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and video communication skills.
    • Great presentation skills with experience presenting to c-suite and other senior leaders

    Influence Account Executive - Cape Town

    The Role:

    As an Influence Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in developing, managing, and executing both paid and seeding influencer marketing campaigns that cover a broad spectrum of Influencer work. You will be responsible for Influencer identification, executing Influencer campaigns that integrate into the overall Influencer strategy, including seeding, paid love and paid media campaigns.     SEO Strategist Mid Level

    We are looking for an SEO Strategist. The SEO Strategist is responsible for the successful formulation and running of SEO strategies needed to improve organic performance of client websites. Not only is the SEO Strategist needed to ensure organic performance improves on behalf of clients but will also be required to conduct reporting sessions regarding organic performance to website owners.
