    Auditor Compliance Audit Level 1 (9months Contract)

    Job Purpose

    • To conduct standard limited scope audits or verification on a risk profile basis to ensure compliance.

    Minimum Qualification & Experience Required

    • National Diploma Finance/ Accounting/ Taxation/ Auditing (NQF6) and 2-3 years' experience in Auditing/Finance environment, of which 1-2 years at knowledge worker level.

    OR

    • Senior Certificate (NQF 4) and 5 years’ experience in Auditing/Finance environment, of which 1-2 years at knowledge worker level.

    Job Outputs:

    Process

    • Be informed on related acts, legislation and regulations that might impact on own work.

    Auditor Level 3 (9motnhs Contract)

    Job Purpose

    • To independently identify compliance and revenue enhancement / protection opportunities with the aim of piloting identified cases to evaluate whether regional implementation may be recommended.  To plan and conduct verifications, as well as limited scope audits, across multiple tax types within multiple periods and multiple risks while understanding the risk implications across other tax types, in compliance with all legislative requirements.

    Chief Human Resources Officer

    About the Position

    SARS is looking for a highly competent Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), who has vast and diverse exposure to Human Resource policies and practices, cutting-edge research on Human Resources processes all of which are aimed at both addressing some of the challenges in the new world of work and preparing the organisation and its people for the future world of work.

    The CHRO serves the critical role of providing thought leadership and strategic direction on all aspects related to Human Resources. The role integrates the total HR value chain and enables a seamless and consistent application of Human Resources policies and practices through automation. This position will report to the Deputy Commissioner: Corporate and Enterprise Services.

    The role is aimed at moving Human Resources along with technology and propelling the organisation into the future in support of our vision of building a smart modern organisation.

    Job Purpose

    To formulate a holistic Human Resource organisational business model in alignment with the overall organisational business model and strategy, contributing to strategy formulation and enabling organisation wide adoption and contribution to the SARS mandate.
