    Senior Supply Chain Analyst - Group Supply Chain - Gauteng

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Degree in relevant field (NQF Level 7)
    • Honours degree in relevant field (NQF Level 8) (Advantageous)

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    Strategy Implementation and Development

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of operational strategies in line with business unit goals
    • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure that changes to data are controlled in an appropriate manner
    • Assess the implications of model changes on existing processes and reporting arrangements and ensure that any updates are communicated and introduced effectively
    • Contribute to the development and driving the use of key business KPI’s within the Grocery supply chain function

    Master Data Model Management and Consultancy

    • Recommend and implement updates to the model to reflect and support evolving business needs
    • Maintain the master reference data lists stored in the Grocery Data Store
    • Build and maintain a good working knowledge of the data entities and relationships that make up the model, both on a conceptual and physical level
    • Validate and release data for general consumption
    • Manage permission levels to ensure individuals can only access the data they should
    • Acquire and maintain an appropriate level of in-house expertise on the key data-related technology products, including training and supporting end users
    • Identify, share and exploit opportunities to expand and/or enhance the use of technology to support data-related activities
    • Advise on data requirements and solutions as the Subject Matter Expert and support the delivery of the data-related aspects of the project (e.g. new interfaces or reporting requirements)
    • Support supply chain continuous improvement projects with the required data analytics and reporting
    • Respond to all queries, resolve all issues and escalate as and when necessary
    • Ensure that common data needs are reflected appropriately in the Master Data Model (i.e. agreeing which data attributes are included in the MDM, where this data is mastered/consumed and when/how it’s replicated)
    • Define, implement and monitor the operation of the (automated and/or manual) arrangements needed to ensure that data consistency is maintained across platforms 

    Anaplan and Forecasting Management

    • Gathering of forecasting requirements to support business decisions for market orders
    • Develop, test and implement forecasting models based on specifications (both generic and bespoke)
    • Maintaining forecasting models to support ongoing business needs
    • Analyse forecasted data and provide recommendations and insights based on outputs
    • Presentation of outputs of analysis to relevant stakeholders

    Reporting and Administration

    • Schedule, track and manage the receipt of internal and external data files
    • Identify, investigate and resolve any exceptions reported during data loads
    • Liaise with data providers to manage changes required to the scope, format and/or timing of data feeds
    • Maintain an up to date definition of all the standard reports being produced
    • Manage the report circulation lists

    Data and Power Bi Management

    • Build and maintain basic in-house databases
    • Provide relevant data to team in a user friendly format
    • Implement and maintain the Power BI environment
    • Advise and provide basic training for other internal users of the product
    • Act as the primary technical contact for the product for any 3rd parties engaged to deliver reporting initiatives

    Stakeholder Relationship Management

    • Develop and maintain good relationships with Global market representatives
    • Monitor and report on performance against any support service level agreements (SLAs) in place for data-related technology components and services
    • Liaise with third party providers to ensure the speedy resolution of any issues
    • Schedule and manage software upgrades and minor enhancements

    Junior Maintenance Fitter/Millwright - Feitoria

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Matric (Standard 10) or recognized equivalent qualification with Mathematics and Physical Science.
    • Relevant Technical Qualification. (Mechanical/Millwright)
    • Relevant Trade certification (Mechanical/Millwright)
    • QCTO Trade Certificate (Fitter/Millwrigh)
    • At least five years working experience, a strong aptitude for electrical fault finding and troubleshooting, experience in hydraulics and pneumatics, and be able to liaise effectively with suppliers for spares specifications and requirements.5 years
    • Good working knowledge and experience in food manufacturing, as well as a good understanding of PLC’s and general programming (Siemens S5/S7 preferably) would be an added advantage.3 years
    • FMCG/Manufacturing experience essential 3 – 5 years

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    Safety and Quality

    • Following all the Nando’s Feitoria safety rules and policies.
    • Wearing safety equipment and PPE.
    • Reporting all dangerous or unsafe behaviour to the supervisor or the manager.
    • Never to engage in any unsafe act.
    • Ensure full compliance with Company Quality, Food Safety, Health & Safety and Environmental requirements.
    • Responsible for ensuring all factory hygiene activities are conducted in full compliance with Company Quality, Food Safety, Health & Safety, and environmental requirements.
    • Ensure all electrical plant and equipment is in safe condition before commencing any work on them.
    • Carry out electrical inspections and safety checks as per OHS Act.
    • Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures, carrying out duties following Good Manufacturing Practices, 5S practices, and assuming responsibility for hygiene and housekeeping in a specified work area.

    Plant  Maintenance  & Operational Excellence

    • Maintenance of machinery and plant as a whole and specific designated individual responsible areas to ensure continued mechanical operation.
    • To report to the Maintenance Manager any problems or faults and breakdowns occurring within the plant.
    • To plan and discuss preventative maintenance with the Maintenance Manager.
    • To comply with the standby schedule, safety requirements as prescribed by Nando’s Feitoria and any requirements of the OHS Act that are indicated as your responsibilities by the Maintenance Manager.
    • Has the authority to stop any machine or practice that is unsafe, or not producing quality products – in consultation with either the maintenance manager or engineering manager.
    • To develop and improve all aspects of the production lines technically.
    • To correctly complete work orders issued or generated by the individual, and to return them to the Maintenance Manager. (E.g. the fabrication of machinery /safety guards according to drawings, refurbishing machinery and moving parts, attending to breakdowns.
    • To furnish the Maintenance assistant by writing in the order book and signing it with all relevant information to allow them to accurately order any spares or parts that may be required, and to follow up on progress.

    Operational Planning and Projects

    • Perform routine and breakdown maintenance on various mechanical equipment, plant or buildings to minimize downtime.
    • Ensure that relevant defects and work requests are attended to promptly to minimize downtime.
    • Use electrical testing equipment and mechanical measuring equipment for the performance of daily tasks.
    • Provide an electrical / mechanical service for the maintenance and operation of the production plant.
    • Assist Electrician in creating sketches and electrical drawings if necessary (wiring panel).
    • Decide on the most appropriate method sequence to carry out mechanical repairs as per original equipment manufacturer’s requirements.
    • Maintain high- and low-tension gear as prescribed in the maintenance schedules.
    • Determine which spares and equipment are necessary for all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, considering lead times and delivery times to minimize outage duration.

    Continuous Improvement

    • Assist maintenance manager in scheduling work and determining needs for equipment and supplies.
    • Provide feedback to the maintenance manager regarding work completed, referring unusual technical or personnel issues to the maintenance manager.
    • Perform a variety of skilled work in the maintenance and repair of production equipment and conduct preventative maintenance.
    • Perform skilled maintenance and repair on mechanical equipment and assist Electrician in testing and replacing circuits, coordinate emergency repairs and complete large, complex projects.
    • Perform routine electrical maintenance.
    • Maintain various records related to labour, materials, and work orders.
    • Adhere to daily and weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of site.
    • Adhere to planned maintenance schedule.
    • Optimise equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality, ensuring the achievement of all Key Performance Indicators
    • (KPIs).
