Creative Lead (Video) at Superside

Job Description

• Superside is looking for a Creative Lead who is deeply passionate about video production in the advertising sector. As a key member of the Video Services team, you will guide a group of talented video professionals to produce innovative content for high-profile customers like Meta, Amazon, Salesforce, Red Bull, and Shopify. We're looking for a leader who is as comfortable working hands-on with projects as they are in directing the creative efforts of their team.
• Reporting to the Creative Director of Video Services, you’ll foster the growth and development of your team. You will ensure that the work you oversee maintains the highest standards of quality and that your team members have the tools and support they need to thrive.

What You'll Be Doing

• Guide video projects through their entire lifecycle - from brief to delivery
• Manage a team of multi-disciplinary creative video professionals to create work of the highest possible quality
• Present concepts and solutions directly to customers and support a positive customer experience through the production of resulting work
• Assist in providing high-quality training, upskilling, and mentoring to our globally distributed team—within these new capabilities
• Lead creative specialists in their creative execution and adherence to customers' brand guidelines
• Constantly search for improvements in the way your team collaborates, investigating new techniques and tools to match the demands of our business model
• Own the welfare and working practices of your team, ensuring they consistently follow department best practices and maintain a healthy approach to work
• Provide specialist knowledge, guidance, and expertise in your primary discipline to inform project decision-making and improve our teams' capability
• Monitor performance and utilization for your team of creatives, ensuring we have accurate information to guide growth decisions for the department

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Demonstrable experience leading teams and video production in a professional commercial environment for a minimum of 3 years
• A portfolio of high-quality video examples for the commercial sector
• Proven results as a world-class creative in an international top-tier, fast-paced, and fast-growing environment
• A functional, practical knowledge of the full video production process, with a specific area of specialty (i.e. editing, concept development, cinematography) to provide mentorship within the team
• A basic understanding/capability within Adobe CC, with a focus on the video tools within this suite
• The ability to function as a customer-facing member of the team, dealing with a largely Western, English-speaking customer base
• An ability to work independently and in a team environment where you foster creative problem-solving and experimentation
• Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and facilitate discussions in large groups
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects and deliver top-quality processes and ways of working
• Passion for mentoring and training others toward excellence and success
• Preferably some experience or a keen interest in Generative AI
