    QC Inspector - JHB

    Description

    • Perform quality control inspections on aircraft interior and exterior as well as parts and tooling used for aircraft maintenance;
    • Prepare aircrafts for C of A inspections as a Project Manager QC product oversight on FlySafair A/C Domestic, Regional and International;
    • Perform and assist with investigations on operational occurrences;
    • Identify gaps in FlySafair departmental quality control processes and make recommendations;
    • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by the Manager: QA;
    • Issue and control AMO certification approvals;
    • Assist the QA Manager with Chairing of meetings;
    • Attend all relevant meetings, including but not limited to the Maintenance meeting, Safety Action Group Meetings, Compliance Meetings, Operations Meetings, Aircraft Survey meetings, etc;
    • Assist with authorising and issuing Company Authorisations for Technical and Flight Engineers;
    • Carry out random inspections during daily turnarounds with emphasis on procedures and maintenance instructions;
    • During 'A' and higher checks, the inspectors will work closely with the maintenance staff, ensuring awareness of the procedures to be followed and to ensure compliance with and completion of all maintenance instructions and tasks to be carried out;
    • Carry out random inspections in areas opened for maintenance prior to close up, taking into account prior adjustments that were made;
    • Sample maintenance documentation for correctness and completion (Work packs/ ATLR's/CRS/CRMA);
    • Conduct quality audits on FlySafair departments, aircraft and facilities;
    • Conduct quality audits on FlySafair's external service providers;
    • Compile monthly reports on QC activities in the organisation;
    • Assist the QA Manager and Technical department in writing procedures relating to quality within the organisation Coordinate and amend Manual of Procedures, Quality;
    • Assurance Manual and work instructions.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent;
    • Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License(Current/Expired) (Essential);
    • Quality Auditor and Lead Auditors Certification (including Root Cause Analysis Training) (Essential);
    • Degree/Diploma in Quality Management (Advantageous);
    • Safety Management Systems training (Advantageous);
    • 5 years' experience Auditing and in the implementation and maintenance of a Quality Management System in Aviation (covering the following scopes: ORG, FLT, MNT, SEC, DSP, CAB, GRH, CGO);
    • IOSA Auditor Training Experience (Advantageous);
    • Technical experience in Aviation (Advantageous);
    • Experience working on a Safety Management System;
    • Must have product knowledge, preferably licensed or have been licensed on Boeing 737's and the associated engines;
    • Understanding of SACAA regulations especially Part 21, 43, 64, 66, 91, 121, 140, 141, 145 and 187 with their related technical standard;
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

    Maintenance Program Analyst

    Description

    • Review and update the AMP with the latest documents as revised by the OEM;
    • Liaise with RPA on submission of the AMP;
    • New and revised task cards to be updated and amended on SAM;
    • Removed task cards to be updated and removed on SAM;
    • Review and update ICA documents on SAM;
    • Load and update Engineering orders on SAM;
    • Update Monthly list of CADR's for RPA;
    • Obtain, review CMM and update SAM when required;
    • Upload repair mapping with repeat inspection on SAM;
    • Update aircraft Sl status with last compliance as tasks get performed;
    • Update SAM with delivery status reports — AWL, CMR, AD's and Repair mapping;
    • Upload DMl's to SAM with compliance date;
    • Upload Aircraft Conditioning Report items per aircraft as received from QC;
    • Attend survey meetings and assist with corrections or alterations as discussed and agreed on in meeting;
    • Assist Engineering with reviewing historical data when required.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or Equivalent;
    • Aircraft Qualification — Mechanical or Avionic;
    • Minimum of 5 years in aviation industry, component knowledge and aircraft type experience, specifically Safair Operated Aircraft Types;
    • Worked in an Engineering environment previously (6scv,hd);
    • Previous experience with Maintenance Program (Essential);
    • Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements, Knowledgeable regarding EASA standards;
    • Knowledge of aircraft documentation, manufacturer supplied data or manuals;
    • Knowledge of SAM would be an advantage;
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).

    Technical Service Specialist - Reliability

    Description

    • Produce the monthly Reliability reports for the B7378 and B7374 fleet, components and per ATA as found through Maintenance and Monitoring;
    • Liaise with OEM's and workshops on reliability issues, monitoring trends on Workshop reports B7378 and B7374 Trend Monitoring, alerts and actions;
    • Control and Monitor Technical Dispatch Reliability as well C-Check Findings;
    • Regularly arrange and facilitate scheduling meetings;
    • Provide maintenance Reliability Feedback on C-Checks;
    • Provide Operational Reliability Feedback;
    • Assist Fault Analysis and MCC as well as Maintenance to improve aircraft availability technically; and identifying reliability issues and or concerns;
    • Maintain the aircraft Reliability Program per approved AMP and SACAA guidelines;
    • Ensure that all SACAA regulatory requirements are met with regards to Reliability;
    • Liaise with CAA for auditing of the Reliability program.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent;
    • Aircraft Qualification — Mechanical or Avionic;
    • Qualification in Aircraft Reliability programs (Advantageous);
    • Worked in an Engineering environment (Advantageous);
    • Minimum of 5 years in aviation industry, component knowledge and aircraft type experience, specifically Safair Operated Aircraft Types;
    • Experience in a well-established Reliability Program;
    • Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements;
    • Reliability Centred Maintenance;
    • EASA standards;
    • Knowledge of aircraft documentation, manufacturer supplied data or manuals;
    • Knowledge of SAM would be an advantage;
    • Well versed in Maintenance and Operational Reliability.
