    Brand Manager: Dilutables

    Job Description

    THE JOB AT A GLANCE

    • As a Brand Manager: Dilutables, your portfolio will comprise of iconic brands such as Rose’s, Hall’s, Brookes, Low-Cal, Tru-Lem and Sixo, you will report into a Marketing Manager.  You execute brand plans while achieving short- and medium-term sustainable and profitable growth for your brands. You will achieve this by leveraging consumer and shopper insights to craft brand/s that consumers love, and by executing compelling brand plans that are delivered through exceptional brand experiences in terms of innovation, communication and activation. On a daily basis this involves articulating and delivering the full marketing mix for your brand. You will work with key stakeholders, leveraging their expertise to optimise the marketing mix including pricing, promotions, product innovation and packaging.

    Responsibilities

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Translate marketing insights and analysis of key issues and opportunities into commercially clear & compelling Brand Plans - detailing execution of Category Strategy, Pricing & Channel Strategy, Promotions Plan and Innovation Plan to deliver agreed 
    • growth agenda (volume, value, profit)
    • Identify, define, develop, deliver & track insight-driven innovation and renovation that is accretive to the brand and category (volume, value, profit). This includes defining the product & packaging solution, for customer team the trade solution, and for consumers compelling communication 
    • Partner with the Consumer Insights team to generate brand-relevant insights from all touchpoints, including market & internal analytics, competitive intelligence, consumer behaviour, trend data and other appropriate sources
    • Lead creative agency through the Communication Strategy process for your
    • brand(s), culminating in the delivery of a Communication Strategy sign off and campaign judging and sign-off of above-the-line and below-the-line campaigns vs the agreed brand blueprint     
    • Ensure key day-to-day Brand Management tasks are executed fully and to a high level of quality including S&OP forecasting, media planning, customer promotion tracking, Marketing Investment spend and management, quality tracking, brand health and share tracking and range management

    WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

    Key attributes and competencies

    • Well-rounded consumer goods experience – spanning Marketing and preferably Customer Marketing roles
    • Consumer obsession and insights-driven – an enquiring mind, and sense of curiosity with a thirst for understanding how consumers operate within your category and use that to drive strategy and decision making
    • Strategic savviness and financial acumen – with the ability to shape a plan to grow your category, drive its execution, and understand the trade-offs involved in pulling various levers
    • Route to market know how – a robust understanding of both modern and general trade 

    Experience

    • 3+ years brand management experience with a proven track record of working across functions to deliver marketing excellence and brand growth
    • BBusSci/BCom preferable
    • Proven record of successful brand development and Idea to Market strategies
    • Demonstrated ability to develop innovative consumer goods propositions based on rich consumer insights
    • Experience working on Beverages brands will be advantageous

    Cyber Security, Risk & Governance Manager

    Job Description

    • The Cyber Security, Risk and Governance Manager is responsible for the monitoring and oversight related to the cyber security operations and the IT environment. This covers the full spectrum from monitoring cyber operations activities, project implementations as well as driving and reporting on the IT risk, audit and governance posture of the environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Report and monitor the cyber security operations environment end to end in accordance with the agreed security operations strategy, related best practices and related roadmaps;
    • Form part of and / or facilitate any cyber related incidents to closure and be responsible for the management and the reporting of the incident to various stakeholders across Tiger;
    • Oversee the vulnerability management capability and ensure that all critical, high and medium findings are appropriately and timeously remediated across various stakeholder groups;
    • Monitor and track activities on  the security operations dashboards which clearly articulate the security operations posture at any given point in time;
    • Monitor, track and provide inputs into the security and awareness programmes across Tiger based on the dashboard trends as well as topical areas applicable at a point in time;
    • Manage the integration of logical and physical security to ensure that physical security gaps do not result in exposures to critical sets of information across Tiger;
    • Perform the role of an access manager in providing oversight and monitoring over the SailPoint and CyberArk platforms as well as the overall Joiner/Mover/Leaver process.
    • Define and manage the security operations engagement model, ensuring that roles and responsibilities across all key stakeholders are clear and documented;
    • Manage any vendors who undertake activities within the security operations and BCP (Business continuity planning) environment to ensure that tasks are timeously delivered with the right levels of quality;
    • Facilitate the transition of SRG specific programmes into BAU (Business as Usual) mode, such that defined solutions can be maintained post the programme implementation;
    • Define and manage SLA’s (Service Level Agreements)  and OLA’s (Operational Level Agreements) between relevant stakeholders to ensure that performance is always upheld;
    • Facilitate and provide input into the integration between IT and OT environments as the two landscape converge into one;
    • Continuously keep abreast of developments within the security sphere (locally & internationally) and apply these developments where relevant within the Tiger environment;
    • Manage the IT audit profile end to end and ensure that all findings are timeously remediated; and
    • Attend and present at key security and / or BCP conferences to ensure that the Tiger Brands brand and reputation is upheld within the industry and the country at large.

    Qualifications

    • Strong management and security expertise on IT security and the manufacturing environment
    • Strong report writing, positioning capabilities and negotiation skills
    • Ability to convert high level requirements into technical designs that are  commercially viable and suit their operating environment
    • Ability to convey a technical solution to senior management in a clear and concise manner
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Strategic thinker with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • A team player who is hardworking and self-motivated
    • Ability to effectively plan and prioritize workloads, and to measure and report on current progress

    Experience

    • 8+ years' experience in running operational security environments
    • BCom / BSc or similar tertiary qualification is mandatory
    • OT security expertise is an advantage
    • ITIL experience and / or certification is an advantage
    • CISSP and / or CISM and / or ISO 27000 and / or CIPP certifications is an advantage
    • Cobit framework knowledge is mandatory.

    Ftc_QA Pharmacist

    Job Description

    THE JOB AT A GLANCE

    • As the Quality Assurance Pharmacist/Deputy Responsible Pharmacist you are to perform the duties as contemplated in Regulation 23 (3) of the Pharmacy Act No 53 of 1974 and the relevant sections of the Medicines and Related Substances Act, No 101 of 1965.  You will ensure that product released for sale will at all times comply to standard operating practices as set out in the site master file and quality manual.

    Responsibilities

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Deputise for the responsible pharmacist during his/her absence.
    • Be responsible for quality assurance and form an integral part of the decision-making process in all areas affecting the quality of the product.
    • Implement the quality management system through continuous monitoring and improving of the system within Tiger Brands as well as at contract packers in line with regulatory guidelines.
    • Assist the responsible pharmacist in co-ordinating the recall activities as per regulatory requirements, SAHPRA guidelines and company procedures.
    • Be responsible for final product approval of product before release of product for resale to market after QC approval by approved manufacturer or laboratory by ensuring all batch documentation complies to master documentation.
    • Review, implement and/or update the necessary SOPs and processes to allow optimal departmental functioning consistent with current practices and regulatory requirements.
    • Implement, review and document adequate and appropriate training of all staff on relevant SOPs. Review changes to legislation and update SOPs accordingly
    • Handle all product complaints and adverse events according to regulatory requirements.
    • Review and update site master file in line with SAHPRA guidelines
    • Carry out annual product quality reviews as per SAHPRA guidelines
    • Attend and participate in all SAHPRA and other regulatory audits.
    • Liaise with QA pharmacists at contract manufacturers to ensure integrity and quality of released product.

    Qualifications

    WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

    Key attributes and competencies

    • Strong sense of quality- intolerant to mediocrity and compromise on product integrity
    • Sound knowledge of SAHPRA policies and procedures– Full understanding of the Act and its application within our business
    • Computer Literacy – Comfort working across Microsoft suite and Tiger systems
    • Detail Oriented – Ability to dive into detail and commitment to complete tasks

    Experience

    • Relevant tertiary degree in Pharmacy
    • Registration with SA Pharmacy council
    • Internship in manufacturing required
    • Experience in quality assurance essential

    • Timeous release of products as per SLA with supply chain
    • Audit of 3rd party contract manufactures and implementation of corrective actions
    • Compliance of internal and external staff and site with requirements of South African Pharmacy Council and SAHPRA.
