    Financial Accountant

    What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

    • You will do the accounting function up to Trial Balance, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting. You’ll review supplier invoices, perform balance sheet reconciliations, maintain the fixed asset register, and process general journals. Your meticulous nature will be key in completing the month-end closure process, reviewing staff expenses, and preparing payment files.
    • You’ll also play a crucial role in statutory reporting, supporting external audits, and updating financial forecasts. Additionally, you’ll assist with tax compliance, prepare tax provisions, and stay updated on tax legislation changes.
    • Your analytical skills will come in handy for preparing KYC analyses and driving process automation.

    What you’ll need

    • You will need a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accountancy, or equivalent qualifications from Chartered Accounting Bodies such as ACCA or SAIPA. You will need to have completed articles/equivalent training programme or have 3 years of relevant experience. A strong understanding of IFRS is essential, and experience with Sage will be an advantage. Proficiency in accounting standards, cost management, and PC skills including MS Office is required. We’re looking for someone passionate and will bring a positive and upbeat energy to the team.

    Project Manager

    What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

    • As the Project Manager for Operations in Fund Services, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing division-impacting projects from inception to implementation. You’ll manage resources effectively, ensuring delivery and fostering clear communication with key stakeholders and Steering Committees. Your analytical skills will shine as you produce detailed process documentation, identify opportunities for business process re-engineering, and perform business analysis tasks to drive operational excellence.     What you’ll need

    • To succeed in this role, you ideally need to have a completed degree, with at least 2 years of experience as a Project Manager and prior experience as a Business Analyst gained in the fund administration industry. Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills are essential, along with proficiency in the Microsoft 356 applications and a working knowledge of finance and accounting.

    Admin Assistant

    What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

    • You’ll be assisting in compiling quotes and tenders, following up with clients after site meetings, and monitoring mail correspondence. You will be responsible for providing adequate feedback to clients on submitted quotes and tracking relevant communications regarding quotes and tenders. You’ll manage various client portals, source new suppliers and pricing, and assist in procurement activities. Your role will also involve general office administration, supporting supervisors and safety teams on-site when needed, and assisting with debtors and creditors between Middelburg and the Head Office. Ensuring transparency and the daily availability of information to the Head Office will be key.

    • You will need a matric qualification and at least three years of administrative experience, specifically in putting quotes together and client interaction. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office are essential. You should be passionate, enthusiastic, and driven, with a good command of different computer packages and programs.
