    Paid Media Specialist

    Overview

    • Accenture Song Brand is currently looking for a (Digital) Paid Media Specialist to join their Digital: Media & Data team. This role is focused on performance and delivering measurable results for our client’s businesses The successful individual has a crucial role in strategic performance planning and recommendations, social campaign optimisation and insights reporting of our digital media campaigns as well as fulfil the optimisation function within the media team in our business. It is imperative that the individual immerses themselves in the client’s brand and full product offering as well as having a good grasp on the digital media landscape

    Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

    Media Planning:

    • Proficient in Digital Media Planning
    • Propose new Digital channels for a client when they become available and are relevant
    • Ability to set KPI’s for campaigns and budgets if they are not pre-defined
    • Conduct research and find the insight in the research for proposals and campaigns
    • Identify the right audiences and channels for a campaign
    • Effectively manage media channels to deliver on Cost, Quality, and Timing targets
    • Creative thinking on campaign execution using multiple Digital media channels

    Implementation:

    • Successfully implement social campaign set-ups
    • Implement media plans
    • Manage budgets spends accurately
    • Manage program execution and financial performance while ensuring that we deliver to KPI’s

    Optimisation:

    • Review live data and recommend changes to affect overall campaign performance
    • Manage key conversion points in the marketing funnel
    • Manage and optimize landing pages, website calls-to-action (CTAs), and lead-generating forms
    • A/B test and continually measure the performance of CTAs
    • Collaborate with teams responsible for blogging, email, social media, in order to optimize each conversion path
    • Optimize our marketing’s conversion paths
    • Increase conversion rates and drive marketing-qualified leads
    • Optimize the lead-to-customer conversion rate
    • Increase funnel marketing efficiencies
    • Achieve and in most cases exceed KPI’s for the business
    • Proactively use optimisations and insights for future campaigns/iterations

    Reporting:

    • Derive insights and propose tactics and recommendations
    • Propose changes and channel experimentation for enhanced results

    Qualifications

    Requirements/Experience/Skills:

    • Relevant tertiary qualification in Digital Marketing
    • Google Certifications (Google Analytics, Google tag Manager, Google Ads - Search, Display and Video)
    • Facebook Certifications (Blueprint)
    • GMP Stack Experience (DV360, SA360, experience in Campaign Manager)
    • LinkedIn Campaign Manager
    • Proficient in MS Office (i.e., Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Keynote etc.)
    • Minimum 4 years working experience as a Paid Media Specialist in an Advertising Agency or Digital Advertising Agency
    • Well versed in Digital (full digital eco-system)
    • Knowledge of Websites and UX (for KPI setting on a lead model)
    • Knowledge of the Google Adwords and media offering across all areas (GDN, PPC, Programmatic) and keep abreast of all new offering
    • Knowledge of programmatic service providers and their offerings
    • Knowledge of analytics and reporting tools
    • A strong ability to glean insights from data for reporting and proposals
    • Intimate knowledge of other platforms that are mainstream and become widely adopted in our client’s space.
    • Ability to engage with clients and engage on robust conversations that focus on performance and interrogate strategies for improvements.
    • A good command of the English language (both verbal and written)
    • Strong time management skills

    • Strong multitasking skills (ability work on multiple briefs at any given time)

    Mainframe Application Developer

    Job Description

    Main Responsibilities/Tasks:

    • To efficiently code, debug and unit test simple to moderate to complex programs. This includes new development and / or modifications to existing programs on a Supply Chain system;
    • Compile designs for simple to moderate to complex programs;
    • To investigate user requests in order to determine and correct root cause of incidents;
    • Assist business / system analyst with definition and analysis of enhancements and new developments;
    • Work with users to define program and system requirements as required;
    • Prepare complete system documentation in the design, programming, testing and release phases of the system development life cycle; and
    • Provide documentation support to project team, including maintenance of technical documentation, user manuals, and training materials.

    General and administrative tasks

    • Submit weekly status report to team leader in agreed format;
    • Perform tasks according to project standards and procedures and within pre-defined timelines;
    • Work effectively as part of a team and seek to support the team’s goals;
    • Deliver the required deliverables as per applicable task assigned;
    • Oral and written communication to supervisor/team leader;
    • Work according to the-minute rule when solving problems, i.e. a problem is not solved within 15 minutes the supervisor should be involved to provide guidelines;
    • Problems should be identified and escalated to the supervisor with sufficient lead-time to avert crises, this includes communication when the target date is not met or when the risk of not meeting the target date exists;
    • Identify changes in scope or work effort that could result in budgetary overrun or the missing of delivery dates;
    • Broaden own technical, functional (Supply Chain Management and Asset Management) and industry (Government) skill base;
    • Engage in formal or informal knowledge transfer;
    • Perform related work as per Client's IT and Operations Standards; and
    • Adhere to project standards and procedures.

    Other Features of the Job (e.g., location, traveling, shift hours, etc.):

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Good programming and analytical skills, with working knowledge of Mainframe languages (e.g. Natural and/or Natural Construct with Adabas or DB2 as database).
    • Documentation delivery and interpretation skills;

    • Time Management and Project Reporting;
    • Quality Management principles;
    • A good understanding of the System Development Life Cycle;
    • Innovative, dedicated and committed to achieving results; and

    Qualifications

    • Matric and relevant industry related tertiary qualification;
    • Minimum 2 years working experience in Natural, Construct and Adabas and/or Microsoft .NET framework
    • Must be a South African Citizen;
    • Prior LOGIS functional and technical knowledge will be beneficial
    • Experience in Supply Chain Management an advantage.
