ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role is a fixed term contract position.
- As an Operator Roof Bolter you will be responsible to safely support roofs by means of a roof bolter in accordance to Ground Control standards.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Conduct the pre-shift checks prior to operating machine;
- Conduct the applicable Safe Work Instruction for normal routine tasks or Risk Assessment if non-routine tasks are required;
- Report all equipment defects or unsafe conditions to the control room and supervisor;
- Support an underground working place by means of anchors placed into drilled holes (Roof bolting);
- Achieve excavation stability in the presence of geological discontinuities and brows.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in mining production in an underground mining operation;

This role is a permanent full-time position.
- As a Supervisor Maintenance you will be responsible for the execution of work management, inspections and observations in a safe and sustainable manner.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Supervisory of Artisans, Winder Engine Drivers and Onsetters/Banksman;
- Coordination of Scheduled Maintenance and ensuring that daily / weekly / monthly / 6 monthly and Yearly inspections are conducted;
- Will focus on Shaft, Shaft repair, Project Planning and Work Execution;
- Ensure that all Statutory Inspection and Maintenance is executed on the Shaft;
- Execute the planned jobs according to priorities, the availability of equipment and in accordance with Company’s work management practices;
- Plan and organize maintenance jobs safely and within an approved budget.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Must have a minimum of 4 year’s experience in a shaft environment;
- Knowledge of Shaft and Conveyance Maintenance is essential;
- In depth knowledge of relevant mines Code of practice essential;
- Experience with shaft structures and systems is essential;
- Experience with winding ropes, attachments, conveyances and related structures is essential;
- Experience with Slings, lifting equipment and other lifting tackles is essential;
Qualifications for this role are:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics & Science / N3 Technical Certificate together with relevant Trade Test/ Timberman Certificate/ Underground Blasting Certificate;
- Onsetter / Banksman certificate.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role is a permanent full-time position.
- As a Supervisor Winder you will be responsible to supervise the safe and efficient execution of Mining Operations.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Supervision of people reporting directly to you in a shaft section, inclusive of time management of employees and discipline in the work place;
- Ensure fatigue management is applied on people;
- Safety concerns is reported and investigated immediately;
- Ensure compliance to all legal requirements as set out by company safe operating procedures.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Must have a minimum of 2 year’s experience in a supervisory capacity;
- Must have shat working experience.
Qualifications for this role are:
- Grade 12 with mathematics;
- A valid underground blasting certificate for Metalliferous Mines;
- Onsetters ticket;
- Valid driver’s license.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role is a permanent full-time position.
- As a Specialist Governance & Technical Stewardship you will be responsible to provides specialist advice and executes tasks associated with ensuring a robust change control and document management process exists and is followed in the operation, to enable the accurate maintenance of the Operation’s blue print, reflecting any approved modifications of its plant, equipment and infrastructure.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:
- Develop technical documentation (incl. engineering standards, specifications, procedures, control system programs and drawings) from which the Operation is designed, constructed, operated, and maintained;
- Governs and controls all technical documentation (incl. engineering standards, specifications, procedures, control system programs and drawings) from which the Operation is designed, constructed, operated, and maintained;
- To provide a simple, integrated, effective system for change management;
- To maintain consistent management in the change management process to allow consistent decision making and communications;
- To ensure that all changes or modifications to systems, plant, processes, projects, materials, products are managed;
- Provides specialist advice and executes tasks associated with ensuring a robust change control and document management process exists and is followed in the Operation;
- To enable the accurate maintenance of the Operation’s blue print, reflecting any approved modifications of its plant, equipment and infrastructure;
- Provides input into plans, budgets, and targets for the sub-function and delivers against them;
- Analyses performance metrics and benchmarks performance across the function.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Underground and Surface Mining/Plant environment;
- In depth knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act and Electrical Drawing standards is essential;
Qualifications for this role are:
- Degree/BTECH/National Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
