    Key Responsibilities

    • Use existing network and LinkedIn to source suitable candidates.

    Requirements

    Qualifications / Technical Skills

    • Matric certificate a minimum requirement
    • Degree or diploma would be an advantage

    Experience

    • 2+ years' solid IT exposure and experience in IT recruitment (recruitment, head-hunting, screening, vetting, people placement)
    • Demonstrated track record in identifying, sourcing and placing IT specialists, e.g. Developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers
    • Good knowledge of the IT industry
    • Sound knowledge of Linked In functionality

    System Analyst

    Job description

    Description

    Saratoga has an opportunity for an experienced problem-solver with in depth knowledge of System Analysis, Business Analysis and Quality Assurance to join the company as a Consultant.

    The consultant will be required to perform the following tasks:

    • Analyse data sources and draw up specifications for the data warehouse/ODS including but not limited to:
    • Data profiling
    • Database schema
    • Conformed database models (star schemas)
    • Database design
    • ETL's
    • Analyse business requirements and configure processes on commercial off-the-shelf solutions
    • Assist in ongoing documentation of requirements and specification of implemented solution designs
    • Assist with data purification and enrichment exercises
    • Write test plans and assist / guide development of test cases
    • Assist / guide acceptance testing
    • Assist with development of reports, queries and extracts for business use
    • Monitor and support implementations

     

    Due to the company expanding nationally and into Africa and the Middle East, candidates must be willing to travel both locally, nationally and internationally if required, and have the ability to move between clients and the office when necessary

    Requirements

    Qualifications / Technical skills:

    • IT related undergrad in B.Com IS or Honours in BBusSc IS / B.Com IS with a minimum of 5 years IT consulting experience.

    Experience required:

    • 2 to 3 years’ experience in database development, data modelling and business analysis in a consulting environment.
    • 2 to 3 years’ experience in system set-up, configuration, implementation and support.
    • Ability to complete required documentation including Technical Requirements, Change requests, ERD and DFD
    • Good understanding of Relational Database design principles.
    • Financial and insurance industry services domain experience is advantageous.

    Senior Business Analyst

    Description

    Saratoga has an opportunity for an experienced problem-solver with in depth knowledge of Business Analysis, Quality Assurance and Project Management to join the company as a Senior Business Consultant. Logistical and implementation problem-solving in a technical context is an important part of this role. A hands-on, delivery orientated professional will need to apply their knowledge and experience in medium to complex project environments (SME / Technical Expertise). The Senior Business Consultant will be required to lead project teams of between 2 and 6 individuals to deliver projects successfully. This position also entails being involved with internal operational processes in addition to client delivery.

    Due to the company expanding nationally and into Africa and the Middle East, candidates must be willing to travel both locally, nationally and internationally if required, and have the ability to move between clients and the office when necessary.

    Requirements

    Qualifications / Technical Skills

    • IT related undergrad in B.Com IS or Honours in BBusSc IS / B.Com IS with a minimum of 5 years IT consulting experience.
    • Specific project management accreditation is required.

     

    Experience Required

    • 4+ years’ experience in systems development delivery and project management, ideally in a financial services / insurance environment. We’re looking for a strong generalist.
    • Hands-on experience in the software development lifecycle is important.
    • Exposure to Microsoft Technologies (SQL Server, .Net framework, C#) is advantageous
    • AGILE/SCRUM experience is a requirement.
    • A thorough understanding of the software/system development process is essential.
    • Must have had exposure to Enterprise Analysis (e.g. business cases, scoping & feasibility, business architecture, solution assessment, etc.).
    • Must be able to prepare realistic and achievable project plans and strategies across SDLC.
    • Must be able to lead and coach teams to high performance levels through application of Agile techniques.
    • Must coach and work with Product Owners to help them properly define and prioritise requirements, scope / time / quality / cost / resourcing / communication / risk / procurement / integration management
    • Experience in negotiating corporate culture and building relationships.
    • Corporate experience essential.
