    Personal Assistant: GM Intermediaries and Head of Finance SanlamConnect

    What will you do?

    • Provide secretarial support to the General Manager for the Intermediary business and the Financial Manager for SanlamConnect in Bellville.
    • The ideal individual must have strong administrative skills and strong planning and organisation skills, be detail-orientated, structured, have good communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a high performance culture environment.

    The successful candidate will provide secretarial support to the General Manager and Financial Manager in terms of the following:

    • Office and diary management
    • Email and information management
    • Travel arrangements
    • Organising and preparation of meetings; functions; presentations; conferences; workshops; satellite broadcasts, video conferences etc.
    • Preparation of documents, including formatting and the distribution thereof for the above
    • Minute taking
    • Using electronic tools effectively. i.e. SharePoint / MS Team / MS Powerpoint / MS Word / MS Excel
    • Consolidate and provide relevant reports
    • Support team members with all secretarial duties
    • Assist with ad-hoc requests
    • SAP S4HANA Financial payments & order supplies

    Multi Data Reconciliation Assistant: Collections and Payments: PG: 7/8: Retail Affluent

    What will you do?

    • Ensure the efficiency of the accounting process of Collections and Payments in Multi Data through managing the cash flow, balancing of Multi Data’s account and the ownership of the reconciliation between MD and their clients. Purpose is also to ensure high quality in Multi Data regarding the money flow and processes.

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • Compile Management Reports, which includes debtor’s age analysis, Sales Reports for mainframe clients, maintenance and reporting on fees and financial year-end reporting.
    • Reconciliation and recovering of billing and service fees from internal and external clients.
    • Process and balance Bank Statements for all Multi Data Bank accounts, which also includes monitoring and control of daily limits.
    • Manage control accounts; analyze and resolve journals.
    • Book keeping of deposits and refunds to internal and external clients
    • Control and manage interest calculations and financial year end processes
    • Supported First Line Manager with audit finding investigations and reporting and credit balance sheets.
    • Responsible for quality assessments in the department and reporting on inconsistencies or training/multi-skilling requirements

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12 with Math or Accounting
    • Degree / Diploma will be advantageous

    What will you do?

    • The purpose of the role is to provide new and existing clients with professional and relevant financial advice, planning and products (sales) that are suited to their needs and requirements.     • Under general supervision responsible for a combination of sales and customer service, both pro-active and re-active.     • This role will support Windows administrators to ensure that the design, implementation and maintenance of logical access conforms to security best practices to comply to our Sanlam Group and SGT policies, baselines, configurations and standards. This role will also fulfil a governance role in identifying non-compliance and to monitor agreed designs and patterns
