    Sales Representative - Ladymsith

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Matric 
    • Marketing and sales degree or diploma (preferable) 
    • Valid Code EB drivers’ licence 
    • 1 to 2 years direct selling experience

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    Customer engagement

    • Where not defined, establish an effective route plan to achieve maximum call rate efficiencies each day for the
    • Conduct research, preparation and planning to achieve the relevant objectives for both Vector and the customer. This includes:
    • Analysis of the customer’s micro (business objectives, operational capacity, storage facilities, wastage etc) and macro environment (trends, competitors, economic climate etc).
    • Analysis of Vector products and capabilities so that the right solutions can be matched to the gaps or opportunities found in the customer analysis.
    • Setting SMART call objectives for each customer (at least 2 per call).
    • Preparation to handle potential objections.
    • Preparation of questions to gain insight and lead customer to the right 
    • Securing the necessary resources to demonstrate to the customer the relevant solution (g. products needed for demonstrations, financial tools, product brochures etc.)
    • Based on the above analysis, put together a quarterly planner that shows potential revenue and new line listings, by customer, to deliver against set targets. Where relevant use the IT system to assist in planning quarterly.
    • In call, follow up previous sold solutions and present new opportunities based on real insight from the research and analysis done.
    • Take orders of new line listings and other relevant solution products.
    • Launch new products into assigned customers.
    • Conduct planned promotions with assigned customers.

    Demand Planner - Westville

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor of Commerce/Economics or Supply Chain degree, or related Supply Chain or BEng (Industrial Engineer).
    • 2-3 years of supply and/or demand planning experience, including depot/stock replenishment and forecasting.
    • Experience on SAP and SAP BW is essential.
    • Advanced Excel experience required.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Strategic Planning:

    • Execute forward planning as defined by management, spanning short to long-term periods.

    Sales Analysis:

    • Analyze weekly and monthly sales data, generate forecasts, and drive continuous improvements.
    • Gain consensus with cross-functional teams on the forward forecast, considering both base and event scenarios.

    Base Demand Planning and Forecasting:

    • Analyze historical demand, remove anomalies, and identify statistical forecasting models.
    • Generate base demand plans using appropriate forecasting algorithms.

    Events/Promotions Forecasting:

    • Collaborate with the customer team to determine promotional activities volume.
    • Question and refine promotional volume based on past successes/failures.
    • Consolidated Demand Forecast and Continuous Improvement:
    • Present forecasts with assumptions, ensuring transparency and one set of numbers.
    • Use forecasting KPIs to drive improvement and minimize volatility.

    Innovation Management:

    • Develop forecasts for new products with input from sales, supply planning, and procurement teams.
    • Track and publish KPIs for each new innovation.

    Portfolio Management:

    • Analyze data to provide input into portfolio management discussions.
    • Recommend opportunities to remove SKU's from the portfolio.

    Sales and Operations Planning:

    • Collaborate with the Demand Planning Manager and finance team to deliver the Sales and Operations Planning pack.
    • Work with supply planning to improve customer service and provide insights into stock holding by branches.
    • Master Data and Hierarchy Maintenance:
    • Contribute to the maintenance of master data and hierarchies.

    Project Coordination:

    • Participate as an integral member of cross-functional teams to deliver business projects.

    Administration:

    • Oversee filing and safeguarding of records within the area of responsibility.

    Reporting:

    • Report on demand by principal and compile other reports as set out by management.

    Team Coordination:

    • Take ownership and accountability for tasks, demonstrating effective self-management.

    Handyman - Linbro Park

    Minimum Requirements    

    • N3 or equivalent (trades related) (± 40% Electrical and 60% Mechanical)
    • 1 years’ valid experience
    • Valid Code EB Drivers’ Licence

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Monitor that power tools, hand tools maintenance equipment are kept in good working condition and stored safely.
    • Report broken tools/equipment to the Maintenance Manager and, where possible repair broken maintenance tools.

    • Perform duties as per requirements to eliminate down time or eliminate hazards / safety
