    Business Unit Manager - Industrial

    • To manage the Industrial Sales market in South Africa with major focus on various industrial sectors i.e., pulp and paper, sugar, wastewater, food and beverage, municipalities, petrochemical, and general industry etc.
    • Develop, implement, maintain strategic sales growth objectives and strategies for Industrial market.
    • Give direction and provide sound leadership to sales force.
    • Carry out extensive customer visits to end users and distributors in the industrial market.
    • Customer relationship management & key account support.
    • Coordinate and compile annual sales budgets by line item, customer, and sales region.
    • Gather and analyze market intelligence on key competitors.
    • Close liaison with Product Support Managers to ensure accurate market offerings.
    • Must have the ability to convert marketing strategies into sales action plans.

    RELATED EXPERIENCE

    • 10 years sales experience in the pump industry, alternatively in a technical environment with 5-10 years with managerial experience.

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • B Eng./ B Tech equivalent 

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Strong Managerial skills.
    • Good communicaton and interpersonal skills.
    • Sound knowledge of accounting practices, stock control and customer relations.
    • Computer literate i.e., Microsoft packages and E1 or equivalent packages.

    System Administrator - JHB

    • Responsible for supporting all assigned employees/the company in providing hardware and software support.
    • Ensure that technological projects are successfully developed and deployed.
    • Provide support for all user-assigned equipment, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
    • Supports all barcode systems equipment (Honeywell handheld scanners, Zebra label printers).
    • Specifies and manages the installation of building access control and Closed Circuit TV systems; maintains and upgrades these when needed.
    • Implements and upgrades all hardware and software of user equipment, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
    • Provides first level software support for JD Edwards.
    • Maintains IT related physical and digital asset inventory.
    • Understands and can follow ITIL best practice. Experience with ServiceNow or similar Incident/Request ticking system.
    • Performs equipment regular maintenance imaging and backup of machines.
    • Procures and successfully implements both hardware and software solutions to satisfy specific business needs in accordance with Franklin Electric Global IT standards.
    • Assist with corporate-assigned projects.
    • Maintains printers and multifunction devices.
    • Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

    RELATED EXPERIENCE

    • At least three years of experience supporting end users/help desk.

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Grade 12
    • Bachelor's degree in computer technology, computer programming, information technology or related field.

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draws valid conclusions. Interprets and extensive variety or technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deals with several abstract and concrete variables.
    • Writes routine reorts and correspondence.
    • Must be prepared to travel throughout SA and to Botswana as and when required.
    • Fluent command of the English language (spoken and written) is a necessity.
    • Basic command of the Afrikaans language will be advantageous.
