    Senior HR Business Partner

    What will you do?

    • The Senior HRBP will be based in Gauteng and will be responsible for the overall people practices management of employees supporting the extended Linked Investment Service Provider offering through strategic acquisitions and partnerships.
    • The Senior HRBP will be responsible for leading, implementing and delivering HR initiatives aligning to business objectives and needs, partnering with leaders and relevant stakeholders in prioritizing recruitment, performance management, labour relations, talent management, reward and recognition and initiatives in enhancing people solutions in alignment to the overall HR and business strategy. The Senior HRBP will assist in the development and implementation of the HR operational plan based on a holistic understanding of our diverse workforce, enabling attraction, development and retention of top talent. The Senior HRBP should have a good understanding of business functions, good communication, interpersonal, organisational and strategic thinking capabilities.

    Attract Talent

    • Ensure that Recruitment and Selection principles and practices are aligned to the EE transformation plan in order to achieve the agreed upon targets.

    • To ensure that effective and appropriate HR Policies and Procedures are in place which meet legal requirements, best practice and organisational objectives
    • Evaluate and align internal processes to ensure effective and efficient recruitment and selection.

    • Assist managers in identifying gaps for employee development to support delivery of KPI's in alignment to department and overall business strategy.
    • Coach managers with regards to HR and people related processes as per clients’ needs such as recruitment of talent, industrial relations and performance management.
    • Ensure that the Performance Management process and principles are applied by managers as per the process guidelines and timelines.
    • Ensure that the performance management principles and processes are understood, adopted and followed across the business.
    • Ensure that management implement and execute performance and goals processes on SAP Success Factors (myWorkSpace) within the guided timelines.
    • Facilitate the Performance Management process with line management and employees.
    • Promote and encourage use of internal reward programmes such as Applause.
    • Commit to developing self by remaining up to date with HR best practice, local and international trends.

    Qualification And Experience

    • Degree with 4 to 6 years related experience.

    What will you do?

    • The Business Development Administrator will be responsible for supporting the Regional Operations Manager within the Cape Town office.

    Senior Security Engineer

    • As a part of our platform engineering team, you’ll get to focus on guiding our engineering team to build enterprise-grade secure, resilient, highly available and scalable cloud-native applications and services to fulfil our product requirements. We are looking for a Security Engineer to put the Sec in DevSecOps. Our ideal candidate would understand the modern Cloud based landscape, but has experience in the traditional corporate arena and deliver reporting as part of a Business Information Security Officer with the support of the CIO and IT Governance Manager.     What will you do?

    • Be a security custodian of the Indie Platform running on AWS, this will entail ensuring a secure environment from both the infrastructure deployment and the code deployed to the environment
    • Embedding of security related checks and policies in our DevSecOps processes 
    • Lead Incident Response in cyber and security incidents 
    • Support the engineering team with creating and monitoring policies and automated processes to ensure secure coding practices
    • Assist the engineering team to identify opportunities for increasing application security and alerting them to new vulnerabilities
    • Introduce innovation by staying abreast of DevSecOps and Cloud Security industry trends
    • Partner with the engineering team and provide input on engineering design and architecture based on your knowledge of security best practices 
    • Act as a thought leader and mentor to our DevSecOps team to ensure security is part of our DNA
    • Implement comprehensive real-time monitoring across the entire platform and running applications with a focus on Cyber related event tracing
    • Assist architectural team with strategy and critical thinking in how to best manage, monitor, report and optimize our stack

    • You are a Security Engineer with demonstrable experience in automation, CI/CD, Unix based systems and love scripting
    • Experienced in architecting, securing and managing AWS, or other major cloud platforms

    • Experienced in securing sockets, RESTful, containerised, serverless, workflow and messaging based architectures
    • Terraform experience a plus
    • You have experience with Node.JS/Python/Bash

    Software Tester/QA

    What you'll be doing

    • Work closely with our QA lead to design, maintain, and execute test cases
    • Define and communicate corrective actions for failed tests
    • Review system and feature requirements and apply best testing best practices
    • Participate in functional and technical design sessions to ensure QA is part of the design considerations
    • Document and report on testing activities
    • Interact with the product, actuarial and operations team to resolve issues that arise during planning, testing and other product phases.
    • Test planning and test progress reporting (including the management of all errors during the testing phase).
    • Analysis and resolution of staging and production systems and values errors
    • Assist with testing automation across multiple platforms
