    Faculty Research Manager (5-year contract) - (7350)

    Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    • A Doctoral degree in a discipline applicable to the Faculty of Applied Sciences
    • Active involvement in research with a publication track record commensurate with Associate Professor level at CPUT
    • At least 10 years’ relevant teaching and/or research experience in a tertiary institution or research institute

    Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities

    • Overall leadership and responsibility for Research, Technology, Innovation and Partnerships (RTIP) in the Faculty- with oversight from Dean, and in close liaison with the DVC-RTIP and associated RTI directorates
    • Assist the Dean in compiling and driving an overall research strategy for the Faculty

    • BTech in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent qualification.
