    Full Stack Engineer

    About the role

    • As an Intermediate Fullstack Engineer in the Customer Due Diligence team, you will contribute as a developer in a team, delivering and supporting new features quickly and with industry-leading quality and non-functional requirements (e.g. availability, security, performance, etc.). You will contribute to system designs for features that expand our existing solution. You will mentor associate software engineers and interns. You will contribute to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to improve the speed and quality of what we deliver.

    About you

    • 2+ years of experience as a full stack software engineer, preferably using React Native for frontend, and a JVM-based language and/or Python for backend
    • Experience building systems with challenging non-functional requirements (e.g. availability, security, performance, etc.)
    • Experience mentoring associate software engineers or interns
    • Experience working as part of a globally distributed team
    • Experience working in a product-based company (instead of a services-based company)
    • The ability to thrive with a high level of autonomy and responsibility
    • Experience in payments is a bonus
    • Experience with testing frameworks is a bonus

    Field Sales - Account Executive (West Rand)

    About the role

    • We are seeking driven, energetic and results-driven Field Sales Account Executives, who are based in the West Rand region, to fuel our sales success across a diverse range of industries within the West Rand region. You will be on-the-road meeting with prospective merchants, helping solve their business problems through Yoco’s products. The ideal candidate is a customer-focused problem solver with exceptional communication skills, high levels of collaboration and proven sales experience.

    • Work alongside the SDR team to Identify potential customers and prospects through research and networking.
    • Establish and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers across various industries.
    • Expertly assess customer needs and propose customised solutions through a consultative sales approach.
    • Drive successful sales negotiations and consistently exceed targets and quotas.
    • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports.
    • Collaborate with other sales team members to achieve team goals.

    About you

    • Minimum 6+ years of experience in field sales
    • Minimum 6+ years of experience in technology (hardware & software) sales, within the hospitality, payments or technology sector.
    • Successful track record in generating and managing your own sales pipeline
    • Own car and drivers licence
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
    • A problem solver, with a can-do attitude and customer centricity.
    • Strong understanding of payments and/or hospitality software products is highly advantageous.

    Senior Product Manager- Onboarding

    ROLE  

    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

    • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the customer due diligence and onboarding area within our product ecosystem, in close collaboration with stakeholders.
    • Own the user experience from signup through onboarding and into ongoing customer due diligence over the entire customer lifecycle, including how the customer views and updates all of their personal and business information in our systems.
    • Act as the subject matter expert in all things in your space, bridging the gap between business requirements, risk, compliance, user experience and technology solutions.
    • Prioritise product development by balancing feature requests, market trends, government regulation, risk and technical constraints.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Design, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, to deliver top-notch products to market.
    • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to end-of-life, driving key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Do competitive analysis to identify market gaps and opportunities for innovation.
    • Collect and analyse feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements, features, and end products.

    IDEAL CANDIDATE | WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

    • You’ve got 6+ years of experience as a product manager or in a similar role
    • You’ve built customer-facing products or features before - all the way from ideation to launch and beyond
    • You’ve led cross-functional teams, collaborating daily with engineers, designers and data analysts.
    • You understand that product management is about outcomes not outputs, and can define and drive product KPIs.
    • You enjoy working with multiple players across the org, to influence how your products are positioned, sold and supported.
    • You love messy problems and are comfortable working in ambiguous problem spaces.
    • You have strong. clear communication skills - both verbal and written.
