    Specialist NW Partner KAM | Specialist Channels(Cape Town CBD)

    ROLE PURPOSE

    • To maximize revenue opportunities through establishing, developing and maintaining long-term relationships and to define and execute sales strategies that focus on increased sales and profitability.  Position LIT as the partner of choice by cultivating relationships and identifying opportunities whilst achieving and exceeding sales targets.

    Deliver on Sales Strategy

    • Actively identify and pursue potential business and generate and maintain opportunity pipeline and credible business forecasts to meet sales targets.
    • Track and record sales activities and deal with any queries.
    • Co-ordinate cross functional processes to ensure all functions integrate and contribute to customer satisfaction.
    • Retention & growth of existing accounts, whilst seeking new business.
    • Obtaining information regarding the customer activity cycle and current telecommunications infrastructure and identifying business opportunities where deemed viable.

    Head of Product

    Key Performance Area

    Products Performance Review – Wholesale and Enterprise

    • Define product strategy for ADC and position and classify existing product offerings
    • Drives the Product Management for the Africa Data Centres business across the Africa region with a focus on delivering revenues by enhancements, growth and new products in the Wholesale and Enterprise markets.

    Strategic Planning for New Product Development and Enhancements

    • Developing a comprehensive annual plan including  timelines to guide the Products Management and cross-functional teams in the achievement of the medium and short-term objectives; 
    • Manage and maintain the Africa Data Centres Product Development Roadmap and align with cross functional stakeholders to ensure the execution thereof;  

    Budget Planning, Implementation and Monitoring 

    • Develop the annual budget for New Product, and Digital services and submits to the Executive Strategy and Business Operations for inclusion in the overall Africa Data Centres Product Financial Budget

    Lead and Manage Product Management & Development

    Ensure the Product life cycle management is followed. Manage the progression through the phases.

    • Go To market (promotion and sales strategy)
    • Manage further developments (enhancements) to maintain relevance
    • Maintain and defend revenue
    • Adopt an agile methodology for new product development, while managing risk and maintaining relevance and use case approach with ADC customers

     Complex Pricing

    • Develop all non-standard pricing elements of customer proposals, particularly those associated with solutions-based proposals
    • Create a formal competitive market analysis presentation from time to time and present to management.

    Customer Specific Solutions

    • Lead the mapping of business requirements to systems/technical requirements to ensure they are in line with Africa Data Centres existing or future capabilities.
    • Educate strategic customers technology trends, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment.

    Formal Qualifications Required

    • Business / Engineering Degree
    • Post-Graduate Diploma or Master’s Degree such as MBA/MBL

    Role Related Experience Required

    • 8 years' experience in sales, marketing, product development and management in a similar Business or Industry

    Accountable for:

    • Developing the business strategy into operational execution plans, objectives and monitoring mechanisms to ensure that the strategy is under execution while being closely monitored for success
    • Developing areas of improvement across own business unit and interfaces with other business units to contribute towards a more streamlined business operation.
    • Understanding and operationalizing the complexities of the companies operating model to focus on quarterly and annual objectives and adopt continuous improvement to reduce and automate cash to order process for onboarding new customers.

    Key Account Manager (Medium Enterprise)(Western Cape)

    ROLE PURPOSE

    • Maximize revenue opportunities through establishing, developing and maintaining long-term relationships with strategic customers as well as defining and executing sales strategies that focus on increased sales and profitability.
    • Manage strategic accounts and deliver profitable, long-term revenue from nominated accounts whilst ensuring the delivery of annual revenue targets through delivery of information, communication and technology solutions.
    • Work collaboratively to set up service relationship for nominated accounts.
    • Serve as the primary relationship owner for an assigned group of top tier client accounts, with the responsibility of retaining and growing accounts.

    • Expand customer stakeholders beyond ICT to strategic business owners (CMO, CFO, COO, CEO).
    • Maintain or improve account profitability by customizing solutions per customer requirements.
    • Oversee the execution of the complete sales process for all customers, including customer request handling, customer information gathering, finalization of product specification and selection and SLA negotiation and finalization.
    • Ensure all after-sale customer queries or issues that come through sales department are properly handed over to customer care.

    Maintain a clear forecast of opportunities and develop a sales pipeline to reach sales targets.

    • Responsible for generating leads and developing a revenue pipeline for accounts.  Identify and establish relationships in new and existing geography and segments.
    • Deliver presentations and propose consultation-based solutions.
    • Keep abreast of market changes and have a broad understanding of Information, Communication, Cloud and Technology Services. 

    Requirements

    • Related University Degree/Formal Technology qualification and at least 5 years' experience mandatory along with an in-depth knowledge of the ICT technology environment - Cloud, Cyber Security, Layer Two services, etc
