    Senior Project Engineer

    Job Description

    • A Project Engineer will normally be assigned to a section of a Project. For the assigned section of the Project, duties and responsibilities will include the following:
    • Execution of assigned work in accordance with the applicable Project Procedures and Standards, within the manhour and cost budgets and the project schedule targets.
    • Coordination of all engineering and design activities.
    • Coordination and liaison with Client, Construction, Commissioning, Project Control and Procurement   personnel.

    Responsibilities

    • Be familiar with the contents of the Department Quality Plan and perform tasks required by that plan.
    • Be completely familiar with the project contractual and commercial requirements.  By personal reviews, be conversant with the status of work being carried out by all the Engineering personnel, Process, Procurement and Construction.
    • Ensure the procedures and Work Practices listed in the Project Engineering Quality Plan are applied as appropriate.
    • Ensure all Client standards and practices as described in the Work Scope are obtained, registered and available to the engineering team 
    • Prepare and periodically update the Document Distribution Matrices.
    • Develop the Engineering design through the issue of MFD’s, Line Lists, Equipment lists and other design documents.
    • Provide guidance for the set-up of WebDMS for the control of deliverable storage and progress reporting
    • Be familiar with the requirements of the project schedule and hold regular discussions with Lead Engineers regarding same. Expedite Engineers to deliver to schedule. Actively understand reasons for delay and assist in overcoming delays.
    • Ensure all Engineering Indices are developed and issued on a regular basis.
    • Know and understand schedule milestones.  Ensure these are understood by Lead Discipline Engineers, monitor progress against milestones and initiate cross discipline remedial action where necessary.
    • Ensure project schedule provides for internal and Client reviews appropriate for the project phase.
    • Ensure effective cross-discipline coordination and resolve cross discipline problems.
    • Actively interrogate DMS to be aware of progress by the Engineering disciplines.
    • Review document, requisition and sub contract indexes and ensure that these documents are updated and available for issue on schedule.
    • Review requisitions for major items of equipment, package equipment and major bulk materials, for compliance with scope of work.
    • Act as contact between company and Client’s engineering representative in relation to all design and specification matters.
    • Act as contact between site personnel and Home Office on all engineering matters.
    • Coordinate the transfer of records to storage and for destruction.

    Civil & Structural Engineer

    Job Description

    • Participates as a member of the civil engineering team on all company projects.
    • May perform the function of Lead Civil Engineer on smaller projects, under the guidance of Senior or Principal Civil Engineer.

    Responsibilities

    Senior Manager – Construction and Completions

    Job Description
    Responsibilities

    • Drive HSSEA culture and performance, with particular emphasis on site-based projects and HSSE input to design to minimise site risk 
    • Ensure the safe and secure delivery of projects and contract margin 
    • Ensure that Construction Management manage their scopes effectively in line with company policies and procedures and within the requirements of contracts signed by clients

    Lead Piping Engineer

    Job Description

    • To coordinate and supervise design functions within a project/study context.
    • Ensure that designs are in accordance with project / study requirements and company objectives and are produced in a timely and cost-effective manner.

    • Site experience – construction and commissioning.
    • Design & Construction of pumping systems in a mining environment i.e., Slurry Piping systems, HDPE piping system.

    Study Manager

    Job Description

    • Responsible for the study life cycle of process mining projects, including concept origination, pre-feasibility and bankable feasibility

    • Produce infrastructure models and drawings in accordance with accepted Engineering practice and Wood draughting procedures.

    Qualifications
    Qualifications: 

    • Diploma in Civil Engineering (preferred)

    Knowledge, skills and experience:

    • Minimum of 10 years design draughting experience, of which 5 years are in the mining and minerals processing area.
    • Produce drawings using computer modelling and drafting software specifically AutoCAD Civil 3D. 
    • Broad knowledge of construction and operations.
    • Good understanding of technology.
    • Experience with Process Plant design and layout.
    • Understanding of other discipline requirements.
    • Checking skills with ability to work unsupervised, focus on task completion

    The following knowledge, skills and experience will be advantageous:

    • Drafting and detailing of concrete structures and associated rebar schedules.
    • Architectural knowledge.

    Structural Checker

    Job Description

    • Checking steelwork drawings and models in accordance with accepted Engineering practice and company drafting procedures. 
    • To work in a safe manner, complying with and actively contributing to the company Health, Safety and Environmental HSE policies, manuals and procedures. At all times considering the health, safety and welfare of fellow workers, visitors, clients, community and the environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Checking of drawings and models on time and within budget - encompassing all aspects of a plant construction package in accordance with relevant standards and project requirements.
    • Clarity and accuracy of drawings.
    • Knowledge and adherence to CAD Procedures.
    • Knowledge of and adherence to applicable standards and the company Drafting Procedures.
    • Accurate completion and timely submission of timesheets.
    • Adherence to project man-hour budgets.
    • Adherence to company Standards and Procedures.
    • Assist with training of junior draughtspersons.

    Qualifications

    • Sound structural drafting background.

    Knowledge, skills and experience:
