    Retail Logistics Specialist

    Description

    • The Retail logistics specialist will be monitoring the supply chain processes and identifying areas for improvement. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and secure the best pricing for products. Track and monitor orders, deliveries, and returns. Manage the inventory of products stored in the warehouse and ensure timely fulfillment of orders. Provide customer support and address customer inquiries.

    Requirements

    • Minimum requirement Diploma (Logistics, Supply Chain Management or similar)
    • B Degree (computer science, statistics/information systems) (Advantage)
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in retail logistics or similar
    • Strong analytical skills 
    • Valid drivers license

    Stock Clerk

    Description

    •  The ideal candidate for this role will assist in the running and day to day handlings of the HomeChoice Showroom’s stockroom

    Stock management

    • Stock orders, taking constraints into consideration such as storage space and stock on hand
    • Assembling of goods delivered for Showroom floor
    • Notifying Sales team/Stockroom Assistant on goods to be moved to Showroom floor
    • Maintaining Stockroom according to Business standards
    • Replenishing of Spares for breakages
    • Ensure all Visual Display Stock is scanned in & all paperwork has been signed & filed
    • Ensure that floor check & stock take on Click & Collect parcels are done weekly
    • Feedback to be sent to Stockroom Manager & any discrepancies reported
    • Ensure that monthly Click & Collect figures are sent to HCDC Inventory Manager
    • Ensure daily duties as per Stockroom roster is adhered to
    • Ensure all POD’s are captured & Click Collect parcels aged stickers are completed & pasted on Click & Collect parcels
    • Ensure all Click & Collect parcels are scanned same day as delivery
    • Ensure delivery note of Click & Collect is passed onto Showroom Salvage staff to contact customers for collection daily
    • Ensure that Stockroom housekeeping standards are kept
    • Ensure all GR’s are accounted & sent to HCDC daily
    • Ensure all communication regarding stock is emailed to HCDC & Showroom Management
    • Ensure Security is present when deliveries take place
    • Ensure that security surrounding opening and closing procedure is adhered to as well as security in general is consistently communicated to staff, run monthly emergency procedures to ensure staff are equipped to deal with any security issues

    Provide an exceptional customer experience

    • Ensure a professional, polite and efficient service is offered by acting as an ambassador
    • Take responsibility by ensuring that advice is always given in the customers best interest
    • Ensure that positive results are achieved whilst maintaining customer satisfaction
    • Continuously work towards improving the customer experience and service delivery
    • Assist with floor sales coverage when Stockroom duties are fulfilled
    • Assist with meeting Monthly Intake/NSV targets
    • Assist with customer queries & same day resolution
    • Ensure you meet business objectives whilst maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction when marketing and creating Showroom awareness

    Administration & Reporting

    • Receipting deliveries from DC
    • Receipting goods return with Security
    • Liaising with Stockroom Manager on Parcels for Click & Collect
    • Overseeing stock transfers to and from the DC as per policy
    • Ensure Stock Take are completed regularly in line with set KPA’s

    Requirements

    • Minimum Grade 12/Matric/NQF 4
    • Advantage Diploma (Logistics and Supply Management)
    • Stockroom Experience within Retail Environment
    • Valid Drivers License

    Administrator

    Description

    • The Administrator, under limited supervision, provides administrative support to a department or group of professionals. The administrator will perform complex and specialized tasks, understanding the impact of statutory/legal obligations and government legal requirements where required as part of the job function. Considering all the implications of their decisions and their consequences when performing administrative tasks, and are able to collect, compile, and analyze complex data and information, exercising independent judgment and reasoning.

    Administrative Duties:

    • Ensure all contracts are signed & filed
    • Ensure All PO's are Invoiced Timeiously
    • Capturing of PO'sProcess Quotes & Orders      
    • Filing of Department Admin/Showroom

    Showroom Roll-Out Contracts And Implementation:

    • Create and maintain a budget tracking system to monitor payments to ensure they remain within the allocated budget.
    • Ensure that all SOPs and store manuals are up-to-date and accessible to management.
    • Develop and maintain a purchase order tracking system to ensure that all capital expenditures are within the approved budget.
    • Work closely with the payroll department to ensure any new hires and resignations are processed in a timely manner.
    • Monitor and track all project items to ensure that they are implemented according to the timelines set by the channel manager.

    Sop & Facilitating:

    • Writing of Omada Policies as per Operational requirements for all Showrooms
    • On-Boarding of All Showroom Staff.
    • Ensure all stores SOP's are up to date
    • Ensure All Manuals are up to date

    Vendors & Procurement:

    • Liaise with vendors to ensure services & items are purchased, prices are volatile.
    • Compare Vendor costs and ensure budgets are kept, ensure vendor documentation is up to date, and that vendors are captured timeously to ensure payments are made in line with finance requirements, this entails, Security, CIT, Alarms, Cleaning, Stationery, Travel, Subscription of Services Provided such as Shopbeat, Allsense, etc

    Showroom Maintenance & Repairs:

    • Ensure that all Showroom Maintenance Schedules are adhered to.
    • Schedule Yearly Maintenance and ensure the Maintenance Budgets are kept in line with Opex costs.
    • Liaise with RSS and ensure servicing of aircon, Roller Shutters, Fire Equipment & Sliding Doors are kept and serviced timeously.

    Showroom Project Travel & Ops Team Travel:

    • Ensure all Project Stakeholders are paid their expenses upon traveling.
    • Ensure car Rentals are paid, and fuel & fines are checked against travel.

    Showroom Monthly Stationery Orders:

    • Ordering Stationery for all Showrooms and ensuring this is kept in line with Opex Budget per Showroom.
    • Ensure that Monthly Rentals are captured on time & Liaise with Finance Team on other opex costs, Journal Payment not yet receipted at the close of the period

    Requirements

    • Grade 12/Matric/NQF 4
    • Diploma or Degree in Retail management, business management, or similar 
    • Minimum 5 years experience in retail sales
    • Valid drivers license
