    Specialist: Collections Monitoring

    Purpose Statement

    • To function as the interface between the business (Operations and Sales and areas with a direct link to Operations and Sales) and IT delivery teams, to articulate and prioritise the business requirements of new ideas, process flow and/or policy changes.
    • To fulfil a cross-functional role by engaging and facilitating effective communication flow between Operations, QA and other support divisions as part of the Collections Campaign Team.
    • To provide customised specialist support to relevant business unit/department in full adherence to agreed SLAs and policy and procedure framework.

    Business Banker: Inbound or Outbound

    Purpose Statement

    • To provide a central, head office based Business Banking sales and service function that will grow and retain business clients
    • To achieve financial sales and service objectives by following up on sales leads through various digital communication channels.

    Minimum

    Experience

    • 3 years experience in a banking environment of which 1 year should have been spent in a sales environment.
    • 1 year lending experience (preparing and motivating credit applications) preferably within a Business Banking environment.

    Ideal

    • 3+ years in a banking environment of which 1+ year should have been spent in a sales environment.
    • 1+ years lending experience (preparing and motivating credit applications) within a Business Banking environment
    • Previous experience within a Personal banking environment

    Qualifications (Minimum)

    • A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting - Financial Accounting or Finance

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting - Financial Accounting or Finance

    Knowledge

    • Understanding of business banking and intuitive credit and portfolio management.

    • Multiple legal entities (companies, close corporations, sole proprietorships, etc.) in the business banking market and the legislative restrictions & requirements governing these from a financial services perspective.
    • Regulations, Acts and Codes related to the banking environment – for example, Companies and Intellectual Properties Registration Act (CPIC) for correct documentation/mandate preparation purposes, Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS), the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA) and related anti-money laundering legislation and the National Credit Act (NCA)
    • Knowledge of competitors offerings.
    • Compliance with the Banking Code of Practice, Credit Risk Manual, Securities Manual and Bank Policies and Procedures.

    • Current taxation laws as they apply to customers.
    • A good knowledge of administration processes and procedures pertaining to Business Banking transactions

    Systems Analyst: Client Initiated Payments

    Purpose Statement

    • As a Test / System Analyst you will be responsible for planning and implementing quality assuance testing across the SDLC, in order to prove the functional and non-functional requirements of the various systems and components that delivers value into clients hands.
    • You will be monitoring current processes and implementing new solutions with the goal to improve overall business efficiency.
    • You will be working with our team of software engineers and analyst developers who are proficient in IT, programming and software development.

    Minimum

    Experience

    • 3 years of Remote Banking/On-line Banking product development and testing level
    • Ideal
    • 10 + years in a payment and software development environment
    • Experience of payments within an electronic channel (in areas such as Mobile, USSD, POS and ATM) will be advantageous
    • Experience in enterprise logging software: Kibana / Grafana
    • Experience in the setup and execution of various automated testing and defect logging tools: J-Meter / Jira / Mantis Bug Tracker
    • Expeirence in Atlassian tools: Jira and Confluence
    • Experience in Formulating and executing SQL / JQL scripts.
