    Treasury Officer

    About the Role 

    Moove Vehicle Limited is looking for an experienced finance and treasury professional who has a keen eye for detail and an entrepreneurial attitude to be Treasury Officer, reporting to the Senior Accountant, Treasury/Financial Planning.  

    The ideal candidate should be a chartered accountant with at least 3 years post-qualification experience with a first degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or a Business-related discipline. He/She must have knowledge of accounting fundamentals, conventions, and bookkeeping principles. Knowledge of accounting software and ERPs will be an added advantage. Our preferred candidate must be proficient in excel, other Microsoft office tools, and Google workspace applications. Working experience in a start-up or in the service/technology industry is also desirable.  

    In this role, you will be the eye of the owners of the business in ensuring that the day-to-day liquidity needs of the enterprise are met. You will also be a key liaison between Finance and the Operations Team.  

    The Opportunity 

    We are looking for a Treasury Officer to be our key liaison with the bankers, ensure payments are promptly made on approval, and be the final control check in the payable process.  

    What You’ll Be Doing 

    • Working with the Senior Accountant, Treasury to assist in the preparation of cash forecasts and cash flow analysis. 
    • Reconciling inflows into banks with schedules and source documents received from Uber.
    • Coordinating cash disbursements and payment process. 
    • Relating with the Ops team on driver-related payments and reconciliations. 
    • Performing daily Bank reconciliations.  
    • Preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly payment reports.
    • Managing weekly reconciliation of payments posting in general ledgers with bank statements; addressing & managing all issues around cash outflow postings.
    • Ensuring timely filing of all bank and other treasury correspondence.
    • Any other business as assigned by the Senior Accountant and the CFO.  

    What You will need for this position 

    • Candidates must possess a degree in Finance or Accounting.
    • Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience working as a treasury/finance officer in a small to medium-sized organization.
    • Excellent communication skills as this position require regular interactions and touchpoints with the various business units, the Bankers, and other stakeholders. 
    • Professional certification in Accounting is a plus.

    Verification Lead

    About the Role

    Moove is looking for an experienced leader with strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial attitude to be the Verification Lead, reporting to the Operations Director. As a proven result–driven person, the Verification Lead will be leading the Verification Team (Verification Officer and Verification Rider).

    The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the automotive finance, fleet leasing management, or car rental industry and a proven track record in developing territories, implementing successful growth strategies, and leading teams. The Verification Lead will be prepared to be fully accountable for ensuring that all drivers in cars are compliant and have been approved for verification.

    The Opportunity

    We are looking for a Verification Lead who will manage the verification process, tasks, and deliverables within our Operations team and also be a representative and ambassador for the team across the company as well as to external stakeholders. The ideal candidate for the role will be someone who is a business expert who also has deep knowledge in risk management, Microsoft excel, and data verification.

    • Working with the onboarding and verification team to ensure a seamless process.

    Verification Rider

    The Opportunity

    We are looking for a Verification Rider who will assess, visit and provide reports of the status of the address submitted by our drivers within our operations team and also be a representative and ambassador for the team across the company as well as to external stakeholders. The ideal candidate for the role will be someone who is street smart and who has deep knowledge of various road networks.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Liaising with the verification officer and developing a work plan for the effective verification process.
    • Assessing the addresses of drivers and guarantors for accuracy and compliance to business policy.
    • Visiting the addresses without notifying drivers or their guarantors upfront.
    • Assessing risk management tactics involved in the verification of the addresses.
    • Reporting address errors or fraud indicators.

    What You will need for this position

    • 4-6 years experience working in a Compliance capacity or in a related capacity.
    • Degree in Business Administration or in a related field.
    • Excellent communication skills as this position require regular interactions and touchpoints with both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Attention to detail, excellent task management, and superior analytical thinking.
    • Professional certification (e.g. Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) is a plus.

    • MBA is preferred.
    • 5+ years of relevant logistics, operations, or services management experience.

    Technical Assistant

    About the Role

    Moove is looking for an experienced professional with strong technical acumen and an entrepreneurial attitude to be the Technical Assistant, reporting to the Tech & Installation Manager. As a proven result-driven person, the Technical Assistant will be responsible for vehicle recoveries and hardware maintenance. 

    The Opportunity 

    We are looking for a Technical Assistant who will ensure that all devices and sensors in our vehicles are working from a hardware standpoint and who will also be a representative and ambassador for the team across the company as well as to external stakeholders. The ideal candidate for the role will be someone who is Technically adept and who also has deep knowledge in hardware repairs, vehicle maintenance, and tracking. 

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Monitoring installations from our vendors, ensuring that the process is done neatly and no damages are done to our cars.
    • He/she will be responsible for maintenance, basic repairs, and replacement where necessary.
    • Assisting in vehicle recoveries where vehicle tracking is required and would be responsible for mobilizing cars in cases where the device malfunctions.
    • He/she will ensure that devices are working properly from a hardware standpoint by physically inspecting each car as they come in for monthly inspections.

    What You will need for this position

    • Must have no less than 5 years experience in auto electric and tracker installation capacity.
    • Excellent communication skills, as this position requires regular interactions and touchpoints with both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Attention to detail, excellent task management, and superior analytical thinking. 
    • Must have at least a diploma in a related field.
    • Must have basic knowledge of reporting with sheets.

    Senior Security Officer

    About the Role

    Moove is looking for an experienced leader with an entrepreneurial attitude to be the Senior Security Officer, reporting to the Fleet Operations Manager. As a proven result-driven person, the Senior Security Officer will be responsible for the security of Moove assets.

    In this role, you will have a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety, that make the organization and its assets more secure. If you've got emergency response skills, some big ideas, and an uncanny knack for organizational safety, this is the role for you!

    The Opportunity

    We are looking for a Senior Security Officer, who will be responsible for the security of Moove assets by ensuring the safety of lives and our assets within our Operations team and to also be a representative and ambassador for the team across the company as well as to external stakeholders. The ideal candidate for the role will be someone who is a Security expert and who also has deep networks within the law enforcement agencies.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Handling recovery: apprehension, accident/damaged, stolen vehicles.
    • Overseeing the security of the warehouse. 
    • Supervising the mobile police officers and recovery drivers.
    • Recovering vehicles from non-compliant drivers, accident scenes, and law enforcement officers. 
    • Preparing accident reports. 
    • Preparing apprehension report. 

    What You will need for this position

    • Degree in any discipline 
    • 5+ years experience with the law and enforcement agency (preferably the Nigerian Police Force).
    • Experience with the transportation industry is an added advantage
    • Candidates must possess great Microsoft office suite skills. 
    • Candidates must possess effective report writing skills. 
    • Candidates must be excellent in communication.
    • Candidates must possess strong negotiation skills.
    • Candidates must possess great interpersonal skill
    • Candidates must possess outstanding organizational skills.
    • Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.

    KPIs that will be measured after you start

    • Turnaround time in resolving issues 
    • Rate of vehicle recovery

    Directly reporting to our Fleet Operations Lead, and closely working with our Recovery Team
