    Junior Finance & Insurance Manager (F&I) - Hyundai Cape Town

    Specific Role Responsibilities

    •  To ensure minimum standards are maintained 
    • To ensure all sales staff are trained on an ongoing basis 
    • Ensure clients receive copies of Signed Contracts and Vaps at Time of Signing 
    • Fais files to be compiled and filed daily, Including Cash Clients 
    • Deal File copies to be done and filed Daily

    The responsibilities of a Service Manager include the following tasks:

    • Drive the achievement of productivity, efficiency and customer service level index goals and objectives.

    Supervisor: Foreman – Isuzu Vereeniging

    The responsibilities of a Foreman include the following tasks:

    • Recruits hire and motivate qualified service technicians.
    • Assists technicians in developing their skills.
    • Understands keeps abreast of, and complies with all regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OHSA Right-to-Know, etc.
    • Understands and ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
    • Ensures that all department employees receive appropriate manufacturer training.
    • Conducts regular performance reviews for all technicians in accordance with dealership guidelines.
    • Ensures that all repairs are assigned to technicians in an equal and fair manner.

    Qualified Technician - Nissan Centurion

    The responsibilities of a Technician include the following tasks:

    • Carry out diagnostic work and support mechanics as set out by the Foreman.
    • Carry out fault diagnosis to aid and speed up vehicle servicing.
    • Take steps to ensure servicing of vehicles remains within the targeted percentages of the manufacturers' time.
    • Discuss matters with service advisors and customers as required and provide coherent explanations.
    • Ensure standards are maintained with regards to vehicle care and safety whilst performing functions.
    • Ensure vehicles are returned to the customer after service in a neat and clean condition.
    • Complete all necessary and relevant training as required by the OEM (online, classroom, other mediums of training) within reasonable time frames.

    Admin functions:

    • Complete forms and documentation included in the company's service routine.
    • Draft and prepare any reports required.
    • Mentor apprentices, sign off logbooks, and evaluate their technical ability (if applicable)
    • Ensure effective communication with team members and colleagues across departments, with customers, and service providers.
    • Participate in marketing campaigns when required for the furtherance of the business.
    • Any other duties as may reasonably be required.

    Specialist: Technician -Service 2 - Rustenburg

    Specific Role Responsibilities

    • Place all used parts in plastic bag, except oil & fuel filters, and place on passenger floor     
    • All warranty replaced parts to be tagged according to laid down rules, and handed to Parts Dept.    
    • Ensure all oils and parts used are booked out on Repair Order                                                  
    • Ensure vehicle is kept as clean as possible, and use all protective items supplied  
    • Ensure work bay is kept safe, clean and tidy                                                                                   
    • Ensure time started and completed are entered on Repair Order (Clocking)                         
    • Report any faulty and / or broken equipment is reported to management                            
    • Ensure all special tools and equipment are used with utmost care                                          
    • To possess a complete set of tools, as per distributor requirements, and maintain in good working order   
    • Always ensure a neat appearance - overalls to be changed after repairs  
    • Maintain cordial relationship with workshop staff                                                                        
    • Training as per HQS Requirements                                                                                                     
    • Standby and after hours servicing as per Service Foreman arrangements 
    • Accept responsibility for apprentices/helpers and impart through training /explanation/practice, the necessary skills required to perform the job correctly, and thereafter to inspect /monitor the work and rectify any problems

    • Three-year experience on Repair and servicing of vehicles
    • Clear Criminal Record
    • A Valid Driver’s License C1, EC will be an added advantage
