    Transaction Advisory Services Manager

    Minimum Requirements

    • Be a South African citizen.
    • CA(SA).
    • Post-article relevant working experience in a professional services organization, specializing in Transaction Advisory Services.
    • A proven record of excellence in a Transaction Advisory Services role.
    • Established networking skills in a relevant industry.
    • Clear and concise report writing skills and effective communication skills.
    • Have the ability to manage deadlines and prioritise duties.
    • Advanced project management skills.
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    You will work closely with our partner-led team. Key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

    • Execution of Financial Due Diligence, including Red Flag, Comprehensive and Quality of Earnings engagements.
    • Analysing and interpreting financial data, by identifying key trends behind the performance of a Target / Business.
    • Identifying negotiation factors for purchase price and deal structuring.
    • Constantly researching industry trends, technologies, and best practice to provide knowledge and insight to clients.
    • Assist in writing reports that set out the key findings and recommendations around key financial, operational, and business matters identified during the due diligence process.
    • Effectively oversee and mentor a dynamic team, ensuring the quality of their work through comprehensive review processes and offering invaluable guidance.
    • Provide regular feedback to Directors / Partners.

    Quality Control Assistant Manager - Audit

    Minimum Requirements

    • Must be a South African citizen. 
    • CTA / PDGA qualification is non-negotiable.
    • Minimum of 3 years post-articles training in mid to large audit firm
    • Proficient knowledge of the International Standards on Auditing.
    • Proficient knowledge of the International Financial Reporting Standards.
    • Familiarity with JSE listing requirements is advantageous.
    • Competence in IT systems including Microsoft Office and CaseWare.
    • Demonstrated consistently high standards in quality of work.
    • Exhibit a strong sense of integrity.
    • Possesses robust work ethic.
    • Methodical and structured approach to tasks.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Implementation and monitoring of quality control measures within the department.
    • Maintain accurate records of the quality control activities and findings within the firm. 
    • Document any deficiencies noted within the firm’s quality system and liaise with the Head of Quality Control to address these issues promptly. 
    • Compliance policies, audit approach, auditing standards and regulations. 
    • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations and best practices related to quality control. 
    • Ensuring compliance and monitoring of the firms lock down policies and procedures. 
    • Review of selected high risk engagement audit files. 
    • Train and mentor other team members on quality control processes and techniques. 
    • Liaise with the Head of Quality Control & Compliance and the Technical Committee. 
    • ISQM1 and ISQM2 monitoring and implementation. 
    • Monitoring of training to comply with the policies and procedures.  
    • Technical assurance assistance to partners and managers. 
    • Ensuring compliance with IRBA requirements by assisting the Head of Quality Control & Compliance. 
    • Compliance with all statutory obligations.
