    Creditors Clerk - Port Elizabeth

    Description

    A vacancy exists in the Finance Department for a Creditors Clerk. Reporting to the Accountant. Responsible for supervising and assisting in the review of day-to-day payments, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording of accounts payables data.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Creditors Management

    • Supplier Maintenance (Vendor applications are covered by the Supervisor function)
    • Process Supplier Invoices on company ERP.
    • Process Return to Suppliers on company ERP.
    • Resolve all creditor queries.
    • Verify supplier banking details and advise on changes.
    • Obtain reasons for differences on invoices.

    Reporting

    • Reconcile creditors monthly by matching invoices to statements.
    • Prepare Creditor Pay List and apply settlement discounts.
    • Prepare Automatic Payment and Remittance Batch and present to Expenses Supervisor for approval.
    • Distribute Payment and Remittance Advices to suppliers.

    Requirements

    INHERENT REQUIREMENTS FOR THE JOB

    • Grade 12 with Mathematics as a subject.
    • Accounting qualification will be advantageous.
    • Certificate in bookkeeping will be advantageous.
    • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role or environment.
    • Computer skills - Knowledge of Windows, Word, Intermediate- Advanced Excel and e-mail.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy
    • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAGE, SAP)

    Shift Supervisor - East London

    Description

    • A vacancy exists in the Operations Department for Benched Shift Supervisor (SS)in Vincent Park. Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, the successful incumbent/s will be responsible for supervising team members with respect of policies, procedures and standards on product, administration, hygiene, maintenance, customer service, labour utilization and employee relations and assist the Assistant Restaurant Manager (ARM) and the Restaurant Manager (RGM) as requested.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    •  Assist the RGM in the achievement of CHAMPS Standards within the restaurant by ensuring that all employees are focused on exceeding customer expectations for cleanliness, Hospitality, Accuracy, Maintenance, Product and Speed of Service.
    •  Manage shifts in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures including directing the activities of employees in maximizing sales, operating efficiency and profitability.
    •  Allocate responsibilities to each employee on shift and monitor performance accordingly.
    •  Ensure that all employees follow correct maintenance procedures in accordance with the established maintenance roster and advise RGM of any repairs or maintenance required.

    •  Report to the ARM/RGM any aspects of employee relations, customer service, health inspection issues that are likely to affect the operation of the restaurant.

    Training Captain - East London

    Description

    A vacancy exists in the Operations Department for a Training Captain in Gonubie.

     Reporting to the People Capability Leader, the Training Captain will be responsible for evaluating training needs and current practices in-store and creating and delivering a training development plan complete with materials, tutorials, instructions, and learning resources such as online modules and guides.

     He/she will be responsible for improving operational performance of all Team Members.

     He/she will ensure competently trained CSTMs and FSTMs within set deadlines and will also conduct observation checklists and complete assessments on Team Members to identify gaps.

    •  Conducts Restaurant Orientation ono the starting date of each new team member or facilitates the Orientation, in-store, via the Learning Zone.
    •  Train, coaches and certifies Team Members
    •  Completes training evaluations to assess the retention of knowledge
    •  Responsible for delivery of training to bridge performance gaps
    •  Facilitates New Product Training as per the KFC marketing calendar
    •  Biannual assessments for all employees must be done to re-assess knowledge

    •  Track and report on training outcomes
