    Talent Acquisition Manager

    Description

    • The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible to develop, implement and drive a comprehensive recruitment strategy and seamless end to end recruitment process for the Minopex Group in order to fulfil current and future strategic and operational organisational needs and to ensure compliance to legislative requirements at all times.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment strategy to accommodate the current and future needs of the business.
    • Responsible for the effective management and delivery of all aspects of the end to end recruitment process for the Minopex Group to achieve delivery targets.
    • Review and update the Recruitment Policy and associated documentation as and when required.
    • Undertaking regular regional audit activity and qualitative reviews to ensure ongoing governance and quality performance.
    • Ensure that the recruitment process integrates with all the relevant Human Resources areas to deliver optimised operations.
    • Support regular performance reviews with relevant stakeholders to review recruitment performance and escalation concerns.
    • Ensure that the recruitment process is fully optimized with continuous improvement on recruitment KPI’s (Time to Fill, Cost per Hire etc.).
    • Responsible to ensure compliance to the Employment Equity (EE) Act and the site specific Social and Labour Plans (SLP’s) in respect of recruitment and selection.
    • Maintain company-wide job descriptions and conduct job analyses / evaluations and job descriptions for new positions.
    • Directly manage the end-to-end recruitment process for all D-Upper grade and above recruitment.
    • Oversee psychometric assessments of external and internal candidates for selection, promotion and career development purposes.
    • Create and maintain an active talent pool of candidates for scarce skill roles and to support the Company’s succession plans.
    • Manage the company-wide job grading and remuneration process and audits via RemChannel.
    • Provide monthly MANCO Recruitment reports on the operational and strategic targets achieved, recruitment turnaround times and risks.
    • Develops support tools using Excel or other tools for tracking and reporting of performance metrics to enable improvement initiatives.
    • Management and improvement of the Applicant Tracking System and associated tools.
    • Ensure that an accurate budget is in place that caters for planned and unplanned recruitment strategies and activities and that the budget is adhered to at all times.
    • Employment Contract maintenance and management.
    • Management of recruitment service providers / vendors.
    • Manage subordinates' key performance areas by setting and monitoring performance standards and taking action to correct deviations to achieve the departments objectives.
    • Plan and co-ordinate the departments workload and set and adjust individual objectives.
    • Prepare career development plans, appraise progress and provide training and coaching to develop subordinates to their full potential.
    • Ensure that an accurate budget is in place that caters for planned and unplanned recruitment strategies and activities and that the budget is adhered to at all times.
    • Deliver a professional and timeous recruitment service to all internal clients and build relationships across the business value chain.

    Qualification Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Organisational / Industrial Psychology / Human Resource Management or a similar discipline

    Experience & Skills Requirements:

    • Minimum 8 years’ experience in managing recruitment teams.
    • Must have recruitment expertise in the African Continent (essential) New Country entry requirements
    • Must have previous experience in designing and implementing HR-related strategies and processes within Recruitment.
    • Demonstrated experience of recruitment and sourcing within the mining industry in and outside of South Africa.

    • The purpose of this position is to manage the asset care management system according to engineering standards, legislative and client requirements.

    • The purpose of this position is to diagnose and maintain machinery and equipment according to technical specification and sound engineering practise.

    Community Relations Manager

    Description

    The Community Relations Manager will be accountable to provide a comprehensive Community Relations Service to the Phola Site, ensuring that the Site maintains its social license to operate within the local communities and key stakeholders.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Community Relations:

    • Develop a strategy for building and maintaining programs and activities that will have a positive impact on the community.
    • Build and maintain relationships with members of the community, key individuals, and other organizations
    • Serve as a point of contact for neighboring businesses, institutions, and communities.
    • Be the principal ambassador for Minopex and Phola, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure labour and community stability and continuous operations.
    • Develop, review and implement Socio-Econmic Development (SED) policies, procedures, and strategies

    • Design and develop Community Programs that are sustainable.
    • Communicate Phola Site’s activities and objectives to the community with regard to development initiatives.
    • Develop a Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP)
    • Create and maintain strong positive relationships, and build trust with all stakeholders in the community, through proactive implementation of the Site’s SEP
    • Address and manage conflicts or crises that may arise between the organization and the community.
    • Develop and implement crisis communication plans to mitigate negative impacts on the organization's reputation.
    • Identify, select and prioritize local community projects, ensuring alignment with the Site’s Social and Labour Plan (SLP).
    • Develop and implement a Social Management Plan (SMP)
    • Effective management of all projects and maintaining all project information / records
    • Manage stakeholder / community relations portfolio as an individual contributor (no people management responsibility).

    Health, Safety and Legal Responsibilities:

    • Ensure compliance with Minopex Health and Safety responsibilities.
    • Identify hazards and risk while performing daily tasks and maintenance and take preventative measures.
    • Comply with provided systems, practices, methods, standards and procedures of the job.
    • Comply with legal an operational requirements.
    • Ensures adherence to the company's environmental management program and objectives are implemented according to statutory legislation and the Strategic Management Plan.
    • Organize community outreach programs and coordinate special events that promote products, services, and ideas of the Minopex and Phola.

    • Postgraduate Management Development Program will be advantageous

    Experience and Skills Requirements

    • Minimum 5 – 8 years’ experience in a similar role in HR / Community Relations in the mining industry
    • Specialised skills and experience in managing Industrial Relations, Community Relations and Union relations within the mining industry
