    Logistics Operator Raw Materials - Middelburg

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB :

    • To safely offload and load road and rail trucks at Raw Materials, allocate the Raw Materials to storage areas by means of the SCADA control system and to monitor the flow of Raw Materials to the correct storage areas

    • Check and unblock discharge chutes 
    • Regular inspection of raw materials and conveying systems 
    • Sample raw materials according to SOP for analysis

    Requirements
    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

    • 1 year relevant experience in a logistics environment
    • Valid driver’s license (minimum B/ Code 8)

    Description

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    • To drive the overall management, direction and continuous improvement of the Asset Capability Assurance process in a safe manner, through clearly defined strategies and objectives for maintenance of plant, equipment & facilities and shutdowns.

    SHEQ Operator Lab Student (North West)

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    • To sample Final product and receive and prepare all samples delivered to the Laboratory according to prescribed sample preparation procedures.

    • Marking and labelling of sample tags and sample containers
    • Storing of reference samples according to specifications and colour codes
    • Dispose of all redundant samples
    • Perform sieve sizing analyses on samples and reporting on LIMS

    • Complete checklists of equipment prior to use
    • Prepare pressed sample discs and load sample for XRF analyses

    • Grade 12/ N3 or N3 that is equivalent to a Grade 12/ Matric (4x Technical subjects or 4x Business subjects and 2x Language subjects)
    • Qualified Fitter Trade Test Certificate
    • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience gained in a heavy industrial environment after completion of Trade Test Certificate
    • Valid Driver’s License (minimum B/ Code 8)
    • Computer Literacy (MS Office)
