    Business Partner LCV: Direct Sales

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent technical qualification
    • Three to four years experience in the motor or truck industry 
    • Computer literate (Microsoft suits of product, Autostats, Dealer view, Mainframe system, SAP, Fleet managemnt system)
    • Understanding of current policies and standards (Isuzu Way, Dealer Business Plans, Identity Standards and Fleet policy)
    • Must be able to travel 
    • Need to be available to work extended hours over month end (including Saturdays)
    • Need to be available to Dealers and Fleet always, including after hours
    • Relationship focused and team player 
    • Self motivating/ self starter 
    • Goal orientated and target driven 
    • Ability to communicate confidently at all levels of the organization (both internally and externally)and must have a good telephone,email,minutes and bulletin writing skills
    • Excellent people skills 
    • Time management 

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assist dealer's in reaching their business plan objectives 
    • Understand each dealer's respective market and local influences 
    • Track dealer's profitability as it relates to the overall business and IMSAF(Isuzu Motors South Africa)
    • Track and review dealer sales performance and wholesale performance 
    • Ensure a clear understanding of the applicable program and that all dealer's have the same understanding 
    • Obtain dealer buy in and track dealer progress and encourage over achievement 
    • Clear communication with dealer's and be easily accessible to dealer's 
    • Dealer visits and/or virtual meetings as appropriate
    • Maintain existing business within your dealer area and look for further opportunities with new potential fleets 
    • Liaise with dealer's to visit clients when appropriate or arrange visits to go on your own 
    • Create and update fleet database and determine call cycles 
    • In conjuction with the dealer, understand the client's requirements and look for possible solution
    • Ensure all fleet claims are up to date and have been submitted on time 
    • Establish a direct customer link to IMSAF (Isuzu Motors South Africa) - could be with existing dealer customer or new customers
    • Understand and resolve clients concerns both internally and externally 
    • Supply accurate marketing competitor intel by gathering opposition information from clients 
    • Issue a clear agenda prior to visits or meetings and ensure adequate preparation prior to the meeting 
    • Fleet registrations / SPA's to be processed and signed off
    • Understanding the customer purchase cycle and forecasting requirement in order to preempt our ability to supply
