    • Gathering all the relevant components (audio mixes, textless elements, etc.) on International Masters.
    • Reviewing and responding to daily shift report, when on standby.

    Editing

    • Selecting shots that need to be taken out or faded after consultation with relevant stakeholders.
    • Formatting multiple file wrappers and codecs.
    • Logging and digitizing of media delivered on tape or any analogue delivery format.
    • Printing to tape and doing insert editing on material to be played out or delivered to analogue formats or systems. 
    • Editing the title as per distributor / broadcaster specifications (video type, audio configurations etc.). Formatting according to delivery format required (DVD master, broadcast file or master file) for redistribution.
    • Responsible for creating viewing copies for potential clients to view and uploading to our digital online viewing platform (Egnyte).
    • Sending links and media digitally to clients.
    • Converting selected media according to clients’ specifications.

    Vision Mixer - JHB North

    Description

    • The incumbent would be responsible for mixing all elements on-air and off-air for all studio productions, live and pre-recorded, as well as special projects and outside broadcasts as might be required from time to time, and to assist the Technical Director with the visual and technical look of the production.

    On Air Graphics Operator - JHB North

    Description

    • The incumbent would be responsible for operating and flighting created graphics in on-air or live production and pre-recorded environments. Ensuring that all graphic elements are free from spelling errors.

    Preparation

    • Building animations using template driven computer graphics.
    • Edit graphics at the request of the editorial team.
