    Prod Team Leader Artisan

    POSITION DETAIL

    Including but not limited to;

    • Lead by example, ensuring a safe and efficient work place is maintained at all times 
    • Achieve the required company quality standards ensuring both internal and external customer satisfaction 
    •  Ensuring that Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) are monitored and targets achieved
    • Liaise and coordinate with support functions to progress issues concerning production planning and resource/skill allocation to ensure delivery of products to schedule within all relevant quality specifications 
    • Communicate with the teams by utilizing the visual management, delivering shift briefs with focus on quality, cost and delivery, and gathering ideas for improvement 
    • Drive performance of team members, giving direction and feedback to aid good performance 
    •  Ensure safe working practices are maintained and ‘Standard Operations’ adhered to 
    • Ensure that non-conformance is challenged and counter-measures are agreed and implemented 
    • Motivate the team to create a high performance culture where improvement suggestions are embraced 
    • Through the utilization of lean manufacturing techniques, strive to exceed the Company targets in productivity, efficiency and quality on a continuous basis 
    • Support the implementation of engineering changes, production trials, model change and pilot build 
    • Report and act upon plant or machinery breakdowns
    • Promote Total Productive Maintenance procedures to further improve the availability of the line 
    • Contribute in the improvement of working procedures by constantly looking for solutions to ensure the best productivity results of her/his machinery group and ensuring compliance with procedures, operating instructions and work instructions
    • Responsible for training of operators for products and processes within the local team 
    •  Conduct incident, accident and non-conformity investigations and associated reporting and action closure
    • Monitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performance and record on appropriate systems 
    • Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviors expected of them
    • Responsible For Minor Break Down Maintenance (Mech/Elec/Automation)
    • Perform Non Lock out Autonomous maintenance Level 1 to Level 4
    • Spares / Service / Maintenance coordination   

    PERFORMANCE MEASURES/ SUCCESS CRITERIA

    Including but not limited to;

    • Effectively manage day to day running of his/her teams
    • Drive delivery, quality and cost standards to meet business objectives
    • Drive process improvements on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by appropriate data analysis
    • Perform root cause analysis and resolve problem
    • Perform Autonomous maintenance tasks

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES (KSA)

    • Good understanding of the Ford Production Systems and the application thereof. 
    • Sound knowledge of quality procedures and the application thereof (QLS/FIS)

    • 3 Years Manufacturing Assembly Experience (Frame Chassis or relevant)
    • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
    • Knowledge of constraint management principles
    • Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook)
    • Maintenance and Automated Equipment Experience an advantage

    Frames Robotic Technician

    POSITION DETAILS

    • Drive fators such as Safety, Quality and Productivity, to ensure objectives are met through following and executing standardized maintenance work
    • Verify that the assembly facility is running safely and consistently with minimal maintenance impact.
    • Ensure PM/CM/EM are done with integrity and quality and Facilities are maintained to the standards
    • Execute maintenance tasks and assignments in area of responsibility.
    • Support, drive and raise Kaizen’s (Continuous Improvement) projects to improve equipment uptime and availability.
    • Meet and implement MOS standards and processes and achieve output targets of JPH, TTT, MTTR, MTBF and PM/CM completion.
    • Support and develop short term actions through the paynter processes and reviews
    • Develop weekend work plans and ensure spares and consumables are available to complete scheduled tasks in responsible areas.
    • Basic administration of maintenance documents for corrective actions resolution
    • Ensure Integrity in work tasks undertaken and identify improvement opportunities

    • Reduce breakdown Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) 
    • Increase Equipment MTBF
    • PM completion ratio of > 97%
    • No Open Work Orders > Three months
    • Develop and implement short, medium and long-term improvement plans for implementation within the automated systems and equipment
    • Take responsibility for investigating and introducing new engineering technologies and strategies with continuous monitoring of equipment using FI
    • Undertake root cause analysis and ensure Permanent Corrective Actions (PCA’s) are implemented

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES (KSA)

    • Fault finding ability, Electrical and Mechanical 
    • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
    • Siemens S7 and Allen Bradly PLC fault finding and programming skills
    • Kawasaki BX, MX, ZX series Robot fault finding, repair and programming skill.
    • HMI –Win CC Scada, Allen Bradley Panel View fault finding ability
    • SEW – Drive fault finding and programming skill
    • Robotic welding experience (Resistance/MIG).

    • Strong understanding of conveyors system programming and body tooling techniques, in addition to networking understanding, Ethernet, remote IO, ProfiBus and Wireless Networks

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Frames Process Technician

    POSITION DETAILS

    • Ensure compliance to the Quality Operating System and coach team members as required. 
    • Confirm proper tools are being utilized to ensure product and process quality.
    • Confirm work areas adhere to 5S standards of workplace organization, and workstations are free of debris and contamination.
    • Ensure EOS standards are adhered to and identify additional opportunities.
    • Coach and support Team Leaders to achieve SQDCPME objectives through standardized work.
    • Coach, teach, and feedback on resolution of abnormalities (ANDON), and confirm closure of concerns.
    • Assist Work Groups as required to maintain production flow consistent with cycle time requirements.
    • Adhere to and modify Time & Data Management to promote, support, and coach a continuous improvement mindset and activities in the team.
    • Verify and maintain documentation (OJT, Versatility, and Mandatory Training).
