    Manager: Commercial and Performance Reporting

    Mission/ Core purpose of the Job
    Manager: Commercial & Performance Reporting will report directly tthe Segment Intelligence and Sales Operations Senior manager and support him in his responsibilities as the “chief of staff” tthe revenue/sales leader. The Manager provides the analytical and financial support tthe function. Manager: Commercial & Performance Reporting responsibilities are aligned, in the same manner as Segment Intelligence and Operations Senior manager, tthe 5 key pillars of the function. The 5 key pillars are named below and described in detail in section 3:

    • Intelligence, Planning and Forecast

    Key Performance Areas: Core, essential responsibilities / outputs of the position (KPA's)
    The Manager: Commercial & Performance Reporting will be accountable tactively support the performance of the segment by injecting the required insights and implementing the various tools and methodologies tensure optimal operational and financial performance. Besides general segment support, the Manager will be responsible for the operations of the Direct Sales force in group in the Elevated MNC segment.
    The Consultant responsibilities are divided in the same 5 key Pillars as his direct manager:

    • intelligence, Planning and Forecast
    • Performance Reporting
    • Operational Sales Engineering
    • Sales Force Performance Management
    • Project management

    Intelligence, Planning and Forecast

    • Assists the SM in hands-on preparation of the Segment Annual Strategic Plan, with direct accountability for addressable market, market dynamics and trends and other market and customer intelligence required
    • Is directly Accountable and Responsible for the Segment target setting and budget for the year
    • Collects, curates and collates the data sources that will “feed” the ADPs in the MNC segment. Accountable for ensuring that all accounts have up-to-date ADPs and reflect any major changes on (at least) a quarterly base (ideally automated)
    • Hands-on responsibility for the forecast and ensures that the pipeline is aligned tforecast treach targets, with direct accountability for the MNC segment, together with his SM
    • Supports in the forecasting exercises across the markets and accounts by providing analysis using “big data”, customer financials, reported results and ensures the accuracy of the data in order tdrive the right Strategic conclusions and actions, in line with GEBU needs.
    • Accountable for the account segmentation and allocation, as steered by the SM of the segment.
    • Supports the Sales Academy and HR with critical insights towards complementing the sales training

    Performance Reporting

    • Actively involved in the Segment Performance Reporting, both financial and operational. Owner of the reporting tools and databases with direct responsibility for the MNC Elevated accounts.
    • Supports the SM with the design, creation, implementation and daily maintenance of a set of sales reports and dashboards that consistently satisfy the needs of the sales and executive team across the Segments
    • Recognizes when reporting, pipelines, sales metric are “off” and ensures the right steps are taken tcorrect / improve the process
    • Support Finance and BICC tstructure data hierarchy and collection for the required reporting for the segment
    • Periodically checks for updates and ensures that the account structure hierarchy is correct, exhaustive and fully reflective of all revenues, and supports the SM with direct advice and actions aimed at minimizing reporting errors due tmisallocations by setting control and correction processes
    • Part of the Reporting Automation tool, together with the relevant team members from Finance, BICC and the Digital Innovation teams
    • Supervises, updates and curates the Oracle Sales Cloud as steered by the SM and ensures that all defined dashboards and reports are reflective of reality. Supports GAM/LAM teams with updates as well as “pushing” them in filling in the pipelines, forecasts and any other data relevant tthe Segment proper reporting.
    • Supervises the CRM as well as the user support for EBU CRM, and in addition manages demands for improvements tCRM supports the SM in defining the Business requirements
    • Acts as a secondary “gatekeeper” tthe operations budget, together with the direct SM

    Operational Sales Engineering

    • Actively supports his SM in the development and maintaining of the Sales process, all other policies and procedures, as well as ensuring adherence tthe Sales Methodology
    • Assists in all the Sales Cadences, across all Segments and, if necessary, documents them and creates minutes ensures proper audit trail
    • Periodical review of Lead and pipeline database, addresses potential errors, mis-inputs and contacts the responsible owners for corrections
    • Actively involved in the facilitation of sales cadence meetings for MNC
    • Works closely with the Sales Administration for the Elevated MNC segment and provides all required inputs from an Intelligence and Sales Operations perspective
    • Collects, consolidates and maintains key contract database for the Elevated MNC segment and supports in the dissemination / disclosure of said contracts upon request

    Job Requirements (Education, Experience and Competencies)
    Education:

    • Minimum 4-year degree in Business, Management or related degree
    • Postgraduate (Advantageous)

    Experience:

    • 3-5 years sales operations support (essential)
    • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant working experience Sales Operations and Market Intelligence (essential)
    • Experience in cross-cultural and cross-functional interactions and willing tpush for deliverables / success

    Senior Manager: Global Accounts Management (GAM)

    Mission/ Core purpose of the Job
    The Senior Manager (GAM) will manage a group of selected global MNC accounts (1 to 6 accounts) with a prime focus on increasing share of wallet. He/she will work with a diverse team (including but not limited to Sales, Pre-Sales/Solution Architects, Service Managers) to maintain and grow account base and ensure service delivery and customer satisfaction

    The Senior Manager: GAM will be accountable to achieve the following objectives:

    • Manage ~1 to 6 regional MNC accounts throughout their lifetime with MTN (existing and potential perspective clients) and across and beyond MTN footprint
    • Be fully responsible and accountable for the managed accounts revenue targets
    • Deliver account planning and manage pipeline through use of statistical data related to clients and industry trends

    Job Requirements (Education, Experience and Competencies)

    Senior Manager: Strategy

    Mission/ Core purpose of the Job
    The Senior Manager:  Strategy is responsible for defining & supporting the overall strategy  & business plan for the Payments & Ecommerce function through the development of meaningful insights, benchmarks and global trends. The SM will also be responsible for generating new business and development of business & product strategies that will drive incremental revenue and profitability for the Payments & Ecommerce vertical.

    The SM will focus on business strategy formulation and determining long term strategic initiatives for the Payments & Ecommerce function. This position will be responsible for advising on the major changes in the Payment Ecosystem, Products & Services, Technology, customer base and/or competition and defining medium to long term adjustments required.

    • Coordinate the review with Opcos on the strategic planning & alignment and assist in defining the future state for Payments & Ecommerce related products and services

    Job Requirements (Education, Experience and Competencies)
    Education:

    • Minimum of 4-year tertiary degree (Business Management, Business Administration, Strategy , or related field)

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Top Tier Management Consulting or Strategy Consulting firm with focus in business development, sales, client relations management, partnership management
    • At least 3-4 years’ experience in Fintech / Banking / financial Services sectors

    Specialist: Global HR Planning, Reporting and Analytics

    Mission/ Core purpose of the Job
    Global HR Planning, Reporting and Analytics is a sub-function within the Global Organization Strategy and Performance Vertical at MTN Group HR.     Senior Manager: ESG Impact and Reporting

    Mission/ Core purpose of the Job
    Sustainability is at the core of MTN’s business strategy. MTN is looking for a result oriented and collaborative senior manager to lead strategic reporting and communications initiatives for social impact issues and topic areas at MTN Group. This is a high-impact role that requires a solid understanding of the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance landscape and implications for MTN Group’s business and societal impact. An ideal candidate will have broad understanding of global ESG issues and evolving non-financial reporting landscape. This role will require a significant amount of stakeholder engagement with diverse audiences and teams across MTN, to deliver insights and collaborate on reporting efforts. This work will drive greater transparency and trust with MTN’s stakeholders and meet global corporate sustainability reporting regulations.

    • The Group Senior Manager: ESG Impact & Reporting will be accountable to achieve the following objectives:
    • Lead relevant stakeholder engagement with various teams to align strategic reporting efforts with disclosure priorities, goal setting, and programmatic development.
    • Implement the Group’s ESG transparency & disclosure procedures, and mechanisms.
    • Deliver MTN’s suite of ESG reports and publications in alignment with international standards, incorporating UN SDG contribution and True Value assessment (reports include Sustainability, Transparency, GRI, UNGC, CDP etc.).

    Senior Manager: Digital Human Rights

    The Group Senior Manager: Digital Human Rights is accountable to achieve the following objectives:

    • Implementing the company’s Digital Human Rights strategies, policies, and procedures, including the Group’s Digital Human Rights Due Diligence process globally ensuring MTN upholds the rights of its customers and stakeholders.
    • Driving the operationalisation of the Group’s Digital Human Rights incident management through consistent application of operating procedure, scenarios playbook and decision matrix to guarantee consistent application across MTN’s footprint.
    • Support MTN’s 19 markets in the assessment of Digital Human Rights risks and impact of requests by government and non-governmental entities.
    • Support MTN’s platform businesses to assess Digital Human Rights risks and impacts of its products and services to ensure that customer’s rights are protected making recommendations of measures to be incorporated.
    • Understand, mitigate, and monitor the Group’s Human Rights risks and impacts to safeguard the rights of MTN’s customers and stakeholders, including coordinating Digital Human Rights Impact Assessments.
    • Support in assessing Digital Human Rights risk and impact of various technologies (e.g., use of AI, Algorithms, 5G to name a few) and make recommendations of measures to be incorporated.
    • Support the Group’s Digital Human Rights advocacy efforts, including implementing engagement and capacity building sessions with key stakeholders (e.g., NGOs, governments, advocacy organizations, etc.) and associations working on digital human rights (such as Global Network Initiative).
    • Implementation of the integrated and multi-stakeholder approach to overall human rights and embedding human rights throughout MTN’s existing systems and functions (labour rights, consumer rights, security, supply chain, diversity and inclusion, responsible sourcing, among others).
    • Drive and track performance of relevant key performance metrics related to Human Rights (such as Ranking Digital Human Rights) and implementing improvement plan across various indicators.
    • Support the Group’s transparency and disclosure efforts on Human Rights (e.g., MTN’s annual Transparency Report) and responses to relevant investor and stakeholder queries to ensure MTN continues to address the needs of our stakeholders.
    • Support in raising the Group’s profile in the Business and Human Rights space, including assisting with the participation of the Group at key events such as the UN Annual Forum on Business and Human Rights, and the African Regional Forum on Business and Human Rights among others.
    • Monitor and track public sentiment and interests around digital human rights, as well as supporting with communication on human rights related matters across MTN’s footprint.
    • Conduct research on human rights issues as appropriate in support of MTN’s 19 markets.

    Senior Specialist: ESG Data Analysis

    Sustainability is at the core of MTN’s business strategy. MTN is looking for an analyst with remarkable attention to detail and systems thinker to support MTN’s transparency and disclosure efforts at MTN Group. This critical role plays an instrumental role in tracking and analysing MTN’s ESG data to active embed and drive ESG performance within the company.

    • The Senior Specialist: ESG Data Analyst will be accountable to achieve the following objectives:
    • Maintain and enhance ESG and impact-related databases, in collaboration with data and operations colleagues across MTN’s markets.
    • Support and develop tools for the effective integration of ESG data analysis into MTN’s business.
    • Support with ESG data management and analysis to monitor ESG performance indicators, ensuring data can be easily audited.
    • Support with ESG data required across various ESG indexes and ratings agencies, including Sustainalytics, MSCI, FTSE, Bloomberg, S&P Global and others.
