    Manager: Digital Activation

    Fintech is entering a new phase where operational and commercial excellence has become critical for success.  We at MTN believe this is a game changer in terms of our business strategy.  We are looking at an incumbent to join us as we build a successful business together.

    As part of your portfolio as Manager – Digital Activation, you will be

    • Responsible for development, execution, and management of the digital activation strategy to increase Monthly Active Users of Group Finco service Web and Mobile Applications
    • Responsible for providing reports and analysis to support and contribute to the development of the functional digital and fintech strategy in line with the overarching business goals
    • Responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end digital activation process (conceptualization, production, and execution)
    • Responsible for driving collaboration with Brand Marketing, UX/UI, IT, OpCo, Legal and other relevant stakeholders to drive the development and execution of digital consumer engagement platforms
    • Responsible for driving innovation by identifying and taking advantage of new business opportunities

    The “Must-haves” we look for in an incumbent

    • Minimum 4 year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations (or related)
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in digital media management and/or digital marketing & activation
    • Minimum of 3 years experience within a non-traditional FinTech or Consumer Marketing environment
    • Experience at the management level in the financial sector
    • Experience working in a medium to large organization
    • Deep understanding of the Fintech ecosystem, players, business models and industry related best practices
    • Experience working across global locations/ regions and have a grasp of political, social, infrastructure and integrity challenges
    • Worked across diverse cultures and geographies
    • Affluent in English
    • Willing and flexible to travel within Africa and Middle East

    • Postgraduate MBA and/or Master’s Degree in Business Administration
    • Prior experience in Financial Services of Fintech companies
    • Understanding of emerging markets

    Senior Manager: Digital Experience & Enablement

    Job Requirements

    The “Must-haves” we look for in an incumbent

    • Minimum of 4 year tertiary degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Engineering or related field
    • Manager track record of 4 years or more; with at least 3 years’ experience in a UX/UI design role
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Fintech, telecommunications, insurance, banking, mobile money
    • Experience in digital user experience design and management
    • Experience with design software and wireframe tools
    • Experience in a variety of interactive design formats & methodologies – including; websites, software applications, mobile UI UX and apps, installations, immersive experiences and touch/voice/gesture-based interaction.
    • Demonstrate leadership experience on projects that have successfully merged design and technology to create stunning, interactive, user-centered solutions
    • Exceptional design sense and design strategy with the ability to provide clear, critical design reviews to project teams
    • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-driven and ability to motivate a fast-paced team
    • Worked across diverse cultures and geographies

    Manager: Fraud Analyst

    Job Requirements

    The “Must-haves” we look for in an incumbent

    • Minimum of 4 year tertiary degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering or related field
    • 5 or more years of relevant work experience in Financial /Banking Fraud Management related role
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in fraud analytics in a scalable/large scale Financial Services and/or Consumer Finance multi-country environment. Knowledge of case investigations, fraud risk controls, regulatory requirements and the market practices
    • Experience in data analysis and management, business performance management and/or reporting within the financial sector or banking industry
    • Experience working in a medium to large organization

    Job Requirements

    The “Must-haves” we look for in an incumbent

    • Minimum 4-year Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Risk Management/Financial Risk Management/Operational Risk Management/Business Administration, or related field
    • Manager track record of 4 years or more; with at least 3 years’ experience in Fintech/Banking/Financial Services
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Risk Management and Business Continuity Management and a solid understanding of credit and market risks
    • Hands-on experience in identifying, managing, and mitigating risks for financial institutions
    • Worked across diverse cultures and geographies
