Job Requirements

The “Must-haves” we look for in an incumbent

• Minimum 4 year tertiary degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Marketing, Engineering or related field
• Manager track record of 3-4 years or more
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Fintech/ E-commerce industry with at least 3-4 years’ experience in e-commerce, product development & management
• Hands on experience in managing, leading and implementing innovative digital products and initiatives
• Experience with Agile delivery and Development Operations frameworks
• Deep understanding of the Fintech ecosystem, players, business models and industry related best practices
• Entrepreneurial spirit, self-driven and ability to motivate a fast-paced team
• Attitude of Innovation, inventiveness and thought leadership
• Abreast of global mind-set and best practice
• Willing and flexible to travel within Africa and Middle East

What will give an edge to your application

• Postgraduate MBA and/or Master’s Degree
• Formal certification in Product Management / Product Owner, Agile Delivery, User Experience or other relevant fields
• Experience in ecommerce and electronic payment business
• Understanding of emerging markets
• Pan Africa multi-cultural experience
• Ability to speak in French, Portuguese, Zulu, Swahili, and other African languages
