    Senior Manager - MES And PAS CoE

    Purpose:
    To provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing Digital initiatives, with specific focus on Integrated Planning Systems, MES and PAS CoE. Direct the planning and implementation of Digital technologies in support of business operations in order to improve cost effectiveness, service quality, and business development. Identify improvement opportunities, recommend types of automations, analytics, and data processing approaches to apply (such as predictive modelling) and deliver solutions to drive business value

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Computer Science/Informatics or Engineering - NQF Level 8
    • Management Development Program or MBA will be advantageous
    • Minimum 8 years year experience in:
    • Business analysis, process design and end to end Integrated Planning Systems (IPS), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Production Automation Systems (PAS)
    • IT Service and Supply Management (ITIL)

    Experience in strategic planning and execution

    • Considerable knowledge of business processes, management, budgeting, and business office operations
    • Substantial exposure to data processing, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications, and outsourced systems
    • Proven experience in IT planning, organization, and development
    • Excellent understanding of project management principles
    • Superior understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
    • Demonstrated ability to apply Digital Technologies in solving business problems
    • In-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to IT
    • Strong understanding of human resource management principles and procedures
    • Proven leadership ability
    • Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously.
    • Experience with Digital Transformation initiatives based on, but not limited to, Industry 4.0 technologies such as:
    • Cloud computing and platform services (e.g. Microsoft Azure)
    • Data analytics and Visualisation
    • Machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions
    • Robotics process automation
    • Internet of Things (IOT)
    • Digital image processing (computer vision)

    Key Performance Areas:

    Strategy and Planning

    • Strategic management of the Integrated Planning Systems, MES and PAS CoE department for the group
    • Roadmap development for functional areas including the OneOrganisation roadmap
    • Apply agile methodology in the design of Digital technology enabled solutions to support the AMSA Business Transformation and OneOrganisation initiatives
    • Lead Integrated Planning Systems, MES and PAS CoE strategic and operational planning and projects; and organize and negotiate the allocation of resources
    • Ensure the efficient utilization of resources – including personnel and equipment within the area of responsibility.
    • Oversee all reports and documentation related to system support in the environment
    • Develop and implement functional policies and procedures, including those for system architecture, standards, purchasing, and service provision
    • Leadership role to ensure successful roll-out of IM initiatives/projects identified within the business with primary focus on OneOrganisation.
    • Customer service management (Demand Management): Work with stakeholders and project teams to prioritize Integrated Planning Systems, MES and PAS CoE requirements/initiatives

    Acquisition and Deployment

    • Coordinate and facilitate consultation with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology and Digital implementations
    • Approve, prioritize, and control projects and the project portfolio as they relate to the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of Digital systems
    • Review hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts and pursue master agreements to capitalize on economies of scale.
    • Define and communicate corporate plans, policies, and standards for the department for acquiring, implementing, and operating Digital systems

    Operational Management

    • Lead and participate in delivering Digital transformation initiatives to enhance the existing stable core, grow the Digital footprint and drive innovation and standardization
    • Focus on exceptional client service through understanding the business challenges and provide enterprise wide technology solutions with focus on OneOrganisation
    • Use Digital technologies to address customer needs around Integrated Planning Systems, MES and PAS CoE.
    • Strong Project Management and interpersonal skills, preferably with a demonstrated track record of delivery using Agile methodology.
    • Ensure continuous delivery of IT services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring of IT systems performance
    • Ensure IT system operation adheres to applicable laws and regulations
    • Establish lines of control for current and IT systems
    • Keep current with trends and issues in the IT industry, including current Industry 4.0 Digital technologies
    • Manage recruitment, development, retention, and organization of IT staff
    • Establish and maintain regular communications with the organization’s department heads, and end users regarding pertinent IT and Digital technologies

    Business Analyst - Enterprise Applications

    Managed Talent Solutions' external client is looking for a Business Analyst - Enterprise Application on a 6 months contract to assists in finding the root causes of business challenges, identify business opportunities and make recommendations on how to achieve business goals and stay competitive. Delivery of accurate Business Analysis output and artefacts is fundamental to successful delivery of IM solutions via projects and normal service delivery. The BA also assists in making data-driven decisions on organisational strategy.

    Desired qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or an undergraduate qualification in a relevant IT Discipline. 
    • Relevant IT Qualification or Certificate/Diploma in Business Process Analysis from industry recognized training institution 
    • Industry-recognised Business Analysis certification, e.g. IIBA ECBA, CCBA, CBAP or PMI-PBA.

    Knowledge:

    • 5+ years’ demonstrated experience as Business Analyst, preferably in a mining IT environment
    • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrable experience in Technical Writing
    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Familiarity with mining and mining concepts, practices and procedures. Previous experience in mining environments advantageous
    • Ability to perform Business Analysis in accordance to the 6 knowledge areas defined in BABOK v3, demonstrating past success in employing underlying competencies and techniques.
    • Experience in communicating with clients and facilitating workshops
    • Experience in Model-Driven Design and Repository-Based Modelling tools, e.g. ARIS
    • Experience in requirements management tools
    • Business Analysis in an Agile development environment with appropriate tools (MS DevOps)
    • Systems analysis skills, process mapping and requirements elicitation
    • Good verbal and written communications skills. Candidates must be comfortable communicating with technology co-workers to help users understand technology options in a way that is concise and logical

    Datacentrix is looking for a Network Engineer who will perform day-to-day operational support for customer networks, assist in low-level designs, and operationally maintain Cisco SD-WAN and MPLS networks.

    Critical Requirements - Skills,  Experience & Qualifications

    • Matric Qualification
    • Valid Drivers Licence
    • Thorough understanding of switching, routing, and their related technologies. BGP, OSPF champion. TCP/IP, IP Addressing (v4 and v6), CIDR, and DNS. Excellent understanding of Service Provider and Enterprise architecture. Experience implementing QoS, PBR, VPN, MPLS, SD-WAN
    • Qualifications - Cisco CCNP essential. Cisco SD-WAN (VIPTella & Meraki) qualifications are essential.

    • At least 5 years experience as an ISP network engineer or in network administration and maintenance.
