    Assembler - Rustenburg

    Main Responsibilities:

    • To assist, under guidance, in the stripping, repairing and servicing of Epiroc Equipment on site
    • Responsible to collect machine meter readings on a daily basis
    • take Hour meter readings when required
    • To perform duties in the Service Contract on site and underground

    Maintenance Planner - Mogalakwena

    Foreman - Mogalakwena

    Main tasks and responsibilities:

    • Supervise and manage maintenance and breakdown staff.
    • Repairer of breakdowns.
    • The Foreman must make himself fully conversant and comply with the relevant standards, procedures and legal requirements pertaining to his work.
    • Accept full responsibility and accountability for all work designated to him within his area of responsibility.
    • Report any contraventions of standards, Legal requirements or procedures as well as health and safety hazards to his immediate supervisor after he has done all that are reasonably possible to rectify the situation.
    • To carry out all duties safely and that the sub-ordinates under the Foreman's supervision work safely and in accordance with proper job instructions.
    • In addition to these specific duties, the Foreman may be required to perform tasks necessary for, or incidental to, the proper performance of his work.
    • The Foreman will be required to comply with all reasonable and lawful instructions given by his superiors.
    • Report and manage damages on machines.
    • Appoint in writing all his sub-ordinates and their alternatives to appropriate areas and associated equipment for the execution of effective maintenance and repair.
    • Ensure that all subordinates and contractors working in his area of responsibility are appointed and that all subordinates and contractor personnel are competent to carry out their duties and all machinery and equipment used by the contractors conform to the mine standards and procedures.
    • He will be responsible for the recognized and proper maintenance of all the equipment mentioned in his area of responsibility.
    • To have in writing all correct maintenance procedures for the machinery and equipment mentioned in his area of responsibility.
    • To keep all of the appropriate Epiroc manuals to aid proper maintenance and fault finding for the machinery and equipment in his area of responsibility.
    • To have in writing the correct repair procedures for the machinery and equipment in his area of responsibility.
    • The proper record keeping of all work done in logbooks provided for all machinery and equipment in his area.
    • Keep record and report breakdowns, call-outs, spares usage etc. for all equipment in his area of responsibility and for the interest of continual condition monitoring purposes.
    • Assist the Maintenance planner in compiling reports and feedback to the maintenance planning system.
    • All hazards must be identified in his section and remedial measures drawn up and implemented to eliminate accidents incident. (All accidents incidents in his section must be reported to his immediate supervisor without delay.)
    • Oversee and maintain the correct fire risk standards within his area of responsibility.
    • He must adhere to all relevant Policies and Procedures, Engineers Instructions,
    • Engineer's Work Practices, Codes of Practices and Engineering Standards pertaining to his area of responsibility.
    • Have a system in place to institute team rules in the section for proper internal discipline.
    • Control his working cost within the set parameters and extension of components' life.
    • Act as a link for the training department in the technical and behavioural training of all his sub-ordinates.
    • Be prepared to act as a coach in the event of training any subordinate to be competent in his appointed tasks.

    Educational Qualification:

    • Grade 12
    • An applicable trade test, i.e. Hydraulic Fitter, Electrician or Millwright.

    Required Skills and Capabilities:

    • Good Technical Background.
    • Knowledge of Epiroc Machines.

    Demand Planner - JHB

    Purpose of the Job

    We are seeking a meticulous and strategic Demand Planner to join our dynamic team.

    The Demand Planner will play a pivotal role in forecasting future product demand, ensuring that the company can meet customer needs.

    This role is critical for maintaining optimal inventory levels, reducing costs, and ensuring timely availability of materials for production.

    This position will set the production plan and procurement targets.

    This position will collaborate between Sales, Procurement and Production to achieve optimal inventory targets.

    Qualification Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    • Certification in Logistics from APICS or similar would be advantageous.

    Knowledge & Experience

    • This position requires a balance of analytical skills, market knowledge, and effective communication to align supply and demand.
    • We require a systems implementor that can assist in improving our material movement tracking between operations, to improve planning accuracy.
    • Proven experience in Sales and Operation planning.
    • Systems driven, MRP Super-user.
    • Proven work experience as Demand planner, Forecasting, Production Planner or similar role, preferably in the manufacturing (preferably within an OEM Environment) industry.

    Maintenance Electrician

    Purpose of the Job:

    Qualification Requirements:  

    • Qualified Electrical Artisan (Trade Test Completed)
