    Junior Planner

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in sales planning, stock management, or a similar role.
    • Proficiency in utilising planning tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.

    • Target Achievement: Track record of meeting sales targets consistently and achieving high performance.
    • Stock Planning: Ability to analyze data, forecast demand, and plan stock levels accordingly.
    • Analytical Thinking: Proficient in analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions.
    • Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
    • Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Apple products and accessories.
    • Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Achieve quarterly sales targets for each line of business (LOB), maintaining a success rate of over 90%.
    • Review shipping schedules, stock-on-hand (SOH), and forecasted sales to plan stock allocation effectively.
    • Ensure the right stock is available at the right time, minimizing stockouts and optimizing inventory levels.
    • Monitor and maintain weeks of stock (WoS) by LOB within agreed parameters.
    • Identify slow-moving SKUs and propose appropriate actions to improve productivity.
    • Collaborate with partners to allocate stock and maximize sales while meeting partner expectations.
    • Generate weekly orders to Apple and maintain accurate stock replenishment schedules.
    • Conduct regular stock reviews to identify aged stock and take necessary actions.
    • Prepare and submit timely reports, including sales forecasts, stock updates, and backorder information.
    • Plan ahead for new product launches, forecasting based on historical data and input from colleagues and partners.
    • Establish strong working relationships with Apple Reseller Operations, store managers, business development managers, and supply chain teams.
    • Continuously develop product knowledge to effectively understand and promote Apple products and their accessories.

    Key Tasks:

    • Promote integration between supply chain and planning functions.
    • Conceptualise and understand the overall impact on the business.
    • Develop and execute scalable and flexible demand planning and supply chain strategies.
    • Ensure efficient stock holding and create strategies aligned with business objectives.

    Performance Indicators:

    • Alignment with business objectives, successful collaboration across divisions, regions, and countries, adjustment of strategies according to trends, and business modelling and risk assessments.

    Leadership

    Key Tasks:

    • Lead multiple teams with clear objectives.
    • Ensure succession planning for key roles.

    Performance Indicators:

    • Achievement of team objectives, effective talent management, retention metrics, climate survey results, and team productivity.

    Supply Chain Management

    Key Tasks:

    • Optimise supply chain processes to reduce costs.
    • Coordinate timely delivery with suppliers.
    • Manage inventory levels and ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Drive continuous improvement within the supply chain.

    Performance Indicators:

    • On-time delivery rates, supplier performance metrics, inventory turnover, compliance audit results, and continuous improvement metrics.

    Planning

    Key Tasks:

    • Analyse and understand demand patterns.
    • Ensure forecasting accuracy and alignment with financial budgets.
    • Develop vendor-managed solutions for wholesale customers.

    Performance Indicators:

    • Cycle duration, inventory levels, budget adherence, stock ageing, and weeks of stock.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    Key Tasks:

    • Align purchasing plans with demand forecasts.
    • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
    • Provide reports and updates to senior management.

    Performance Indicators:

    • Alignment between purchasing and demand forecasts, quality of data integration, and effective communication.

    Reporting

    Key Tasks:

    • Present reports and insights to Exco.
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations.
    • Define metrics for quality and cost comparisons.

    Performance Indicators:

    • Frequency and quality of reports, and adherence to best practices.
    •  Innovation and Systems Integration

    Key Tasks:

    • Improve demand planning processes with technology.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Qualifications: Degree, preferably Honours.
    • Experience: 12-15 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, and supply chain. Demonstrated strategic leadership and operational supply chain experience. Proven excellence in a specific supply chain category (e.g., procurement, manufacturing, logistics, or planning) and experience leading teams.

    Accounts Payable Controller - 3 Month Temp

    ABOUT THE ROLE: 

    • An amazing opportunity to join our dynamic AP team with plenty of opportunity for individuals to grow and learn new systems! 
    • We are looking for an Accounts Payable clerk with a minimum of 5 years of experience. The Accounts Payable clerk should have knowledge of local and foreign creditors and must have experience in dealing with high volumes across different entities. Shared Services experience is a bonus.
    • The role of the Accounts Payable Controller is to ensure that all suppliers and customer refunds are processed timeously. The payments cashbook is updated on a daily basis to ensure an accurate age analysis. Supplier and business relationships are maintained positively.
    • The AP Controller will be a part of a big team and positive relationships must be maintained within the team.

    Educational Experience:

    • Matric 
    • Relevant finance qualification 

    Work Experience Required:

    • Minimum 20 years Accounts Payable Experience

    General Manager - iStore Africa

    Position Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Relevant Qualification, degree preferred. 
    • Strong commercial skills and business acumen
    • 4-7 years of management experience, including team leadership

    Minimum Requirements:

    • 4 to 7 years of practical managerial experience with a proven track record in a sales, marketing, and customer service-focused environment, particularly in the retail sector
    • Demonstrated success in a target-driven setting
    • Experience working across Africa is advantageous

    • Manage controllable expenses and safeguard stock, cash, debtors, and fixed assets
    • Identify potential risks and recommend improvements to eliminate gaps

    Stock Management & Merchandising

    • Collaborate with the planning team to ensure the correct mix and volume of stock in each store
    • Assist with merchandising layout to create impactful displays and ensure stock rotation to minimise ageing
    • Oversee control of stock and assets, focusing on minimising shrinkage and pilferage
    • Secure business assets and ensure compliance with merchandising guidelines for Apple and third-party products
