Web Designer - Newlands at Pedros Flame Grilled Chicken

RESONSIBILITIES:

• Build and maintain Pedros websites on WordPress- frontend and backend.
• Create conceptual designs for mobile and web platforms.
• Follow and create design guidelines, best practices and standards.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off.
• Evaluate and adapt designs based on feedback provided.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, adhere to briefs given, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a Web design Degree/Diploma.
• WordPress expert with 3-5 years’ experience.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Creative Cloud & Photoshop.
• Proficiency in Google & Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Skilled in Customer Journey mapping and User Flow Ideation.
• Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps.
• Graphic Design skills.
• A good understanding of design systems.
• An understanding of how websites and digital applications are built and how your work can impact this.
• Understanding how to get the most out of your design for SEO.
• Be a good team player.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
