Technician Electrical Maintenance-Skilled, Academic, Jr Mgmt, Supervisors, Foremen and Supts-Operational / Core Function-Professional at Airports Company of South Africa Limited (ACSA)

Key Performance Outputs

The successful candidate, will be reporting to the Manager Electrical Maintenance will be responsible for the following:

• Input into maintenance planning, scheduling and execution of the asset
• Execute safe planned and unplanned maintenance activities
• Provide input into the development of maintenance planning programme and execution thereof 
• Utilization of enterprise asset management system.
• Participate in failure investigation and root cause analysis
• Maintain and/or manage material and spares.
• Consult and give support in commissioning and testing of assets.
• Conduct studies and make recommendations on upgrades/replacements of assets.
• Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, policies and practices.
• Adherence to municipal by-laws.
• Manage Service Level Agreement (maintenance and supply).
• Conduct continuous Audit and quality control (activities and contractual) and implement remedial action where required.
• Determine, as part of cross-functional team, evaluation criteria and participate in evaluation and award of bids / tenders received
• Prepare, specify, scope of work and technical requirements.
• Provide Input into allocated budget
• Identify cost-saving initiatives within area of control.
• Compile and submit relevant reports

Technical Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required: 

• Diploma in Electrical is essential 
• 3 years in Infrastructure Maintenance Operational is Essential 
• Technical, specialist or analytical skills acquired through tertiary education or the equivalent experience
