Technical Sales Specialist
Description
We are looking for a talented TECHNICAL SALES SPECIALIST to join our team specializing in SALES for our POWER SYSTEMS BUSINESS SEGMENT in JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Builds positive relationships and trust with Key Influencer Customers` management and technical personal.
Works to influence product/project specifications and purchasing behaviors within consultant specify engineers.
Develops Key Customer strategies and maintains them in an account plan-like framework, works with stakeholders to achieve expected results.
Deliver virtual and in person technical presentations on topics related to diesel generator sets like sizing, ventilation, room layout, paralleling and synchronizing among others.
Assists and drives distributors to build relationship with local consultants and to promote technical presentations.
Drives and influence the project design, based on market study which includes product competitor`s comparison, to the best fit Cummins generator set ratings and system solutions.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Account Planning – Identifies objectives to drive execution of business and/or account strategy by reviewing the status relative where it needs to be and enabling tracking of progress against targets.
