Key Requirements
Base Qualification: Matric
Windows 10 Certified Technician (Configuring Windows Devices) and (Installing and Configuring Windows 10) course and certification
PowerShell Certification
8 years of hands on experience supporting IT hardware, software, network services in an IT Service Center/Help Desk environment and or an equivalent combination of education and experience
CompTIA (Network+, Security+) certification
Linux Fundamentals course and certification
Mac fundamental course (Mac support essentials ACSP desirable) and certification
System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) course and exam
Microsoft applications O365 suite course and certification
Fundamental course in AI - BOT solutions
Networking course (CCNA preferred) and certification
Visualization course (Vmware, Hyper-V) and certification
Deepfreeze Fundamentals course and certification
MFD Printer course and qualification, PaperCut preferred
Device course and certified: Dell TechDirect preferred
Cloud course and certified, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals preferred
Troubleshooting course, preferably Kepner-Tregoe
TOGAF®
Team player, self-motivated and a positive attitude
Key Responsibilities
Be an escalation point for Technical issues
Assist with planning and executing projects according to customers’ needs
Step in on heated technical debates, work with outside stakeholders to define technical options and agree on solutions for future streams of work
Manage technical risks logged to the team
Optimize troubleshooting of daily technical issues logged by users
Assist with Vendor management
Assist with leading BI Weekly meetings with all Global sites
Attend technical meetings with various stakeholders both at Derivco and outside of Derivco
Develop good working relationships with other teams and departments
Participate in the Technical review board
Be online for days on a rotating roster shift, as part of a team providing 24x7 global support
