    Receptionist/Administration Assistant - Knysna - George

    What will you do?

    Reception duties:

    • Switchboard duties and logging faults via the SIG Helpdesk.
    • Hostess functions when welcoming clients and attending to all clients.
    • Oversee the reception client area, all boardrooms, and boardroom bookings.
    • Manage refreshment orders for meetings, presentations and the office as and when required.
    • Liaise with the marketing department
    • Maintain updated research in the reception area.
    • Prepare marketing briefs in line with marketing’s templates
    • Assist with Knysna client event coordination (as and when required)
    • Manage office stationery and suppliers’ invoices
    • Binding and collation of presentation packs for Portfolio Manager presentations
    • Assist with administration for events being held including the branding equipment
    • Manage incoming and outgoing post / deliveries and liaise with courier companies and the mailing room team.
    • Log calls with the Facilities Managers with regard to office maintenance
    • Adhoc assistance to the team as and when required

    Administration duties:

    • Assist with the opening of all accounts on BDA
    • Assist with checking all mandate and FICA for completion
    • Assist with monthly payments
    • Assist with the processing of journals
    • Assist with the checking of accounts for funds for monthly payments

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • Experience within the Private Wealth industry
    • High level of accuracy
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Qualification and experience

    • Tertiary and/or industry related qualification would be an advantage (with Finance/Accounts)
    • Matric (essentially with Mathematics /Accounting an advantage)
    • Basic understanding of the Private Client business and the stock-broking environment preferable
    • Experience within the financial services industry is essential

    Knowledge and skills

    • Computer literacy – MS Office and Excel
    • Working knowledge of BDA an advantage
    • Knowledge of private client processes and procedures
    • Knowledge of the back office functioning an advantage
