    Production Scheduler - Losberg

    Overview    

    • Manage forecast for long raw materials planning while considering current inventory.

    Qualifications    

    • Diploma/certificate in Administration, Supply Chain

    Experience    

    • 3 years working experience in a planning or scheduling position
    • 1 years’ experience with purchasing (MPR, Inventory analysis, etc)

    Advantageous Requirements:

    • Proven experience with complex planning and improved business planning

    Duties    
    Planning and execution of production scheduling

    • Efficiently carry out planning and coordination of production schedules
    • Determining the products/raw materials to be used in the production process

    Management of resources 

    • Ensure that resources being utilized in the production process are efficiently managed
    • Minimizing cost
    • Ensuring timely delivery of orders to clients/customers

    Monitoring of the company’s production schedule

    • Coordinate and develop production plans with the company’s management team
    • Create efficient scheduling processes or methods to attain production goals
    • Generate production reports that are meant to be used for important (production) decisions

    Monitoring inventory levels

    • Stock count
    • Place orders for production materials to avoid shortage in inventory
    • Ensure that the company doesn’t lack production materials at any point in time 

    Management of the MRP System 

    • Creating Purchase Orders for suppliers’ invoices
    • Follow up on the workflow of the requisitions on the system

    Job Competencies    
    Job Knowledge:

    • Excellent communication skills on all fronts (listening and speaking)
    • Must possess good interpersonal skills to be able to get along well with other workers (cohesion)
    • Coordination and organizational abilities
    • Good leadership qualities
    • Good time management abilities
    • Basic customer care skills
    • Attention to detail
    • MS Office efficiency
    • Must be familiar with logistics planning software
    • Knowledge of the production processes
